Stockdale's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Town of Whitestown

Went to Stockdale's today for an early lunch. Husband ordered the Stockdale burger, and I had the chicken quesadillas, both of which we split between us. The burger was pretty good-served medium rare with lettuce tomatoe, and pickles on the side. Fresh cut fries were meh, they tasted like they were either over-cooked or day old and reheated. The quesadillas were served with a handful of various shades of tortilla chips, with tiny containers of of sour cream and salsa. I found them rather unappealing, greasy and lacking in filling, especially the chicken. To me, it tasted like a thin, greasy toasted cheese. The husband however, thought they were delicious. Go figure. We'll give them another try sometime, if nothing more than to try a few of the many, many craft...

Great food! The french fries are so good - I can't go there without ordering them. The Red, White and Bleu wings are phenomenal. I've tried all of their burgers - including a peanut butter bacon burger, it was great. They have a great beer selection and I find it quite comfortable. It's smaller and you feel like you belong. You gotta try it at least once - and I'm guessing you will go back! UPDATE: we are still going here. It has a neighborhood vibe. We know a lot of people by name or face. The food is always good. The variety of drinks is fantastic. And I'm that person who drinks dirty martinis one week, the hazy IPAs the next, shots of tequila sometimes and Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc other times! I love this place!!! The owners are amazing and the drinks and food choices are also amazing. They do different themes that I am sure generate a lot of attraction. This is a come as you are place, but leave welcomed and happier then when you came in. This is a great place for groups or on your own. They have a great array of nice beers. Not a bad idea to invest in an Uber/Lyft ride so you can fully enjoy yourself if you are coming a little distance. Whether you are looking to do karaoke or try their up coming Drag Brunch, they are always doing cool things to please...
