Yia Yia's Ice Cream Shoppe — Restaurant in Town of Williamson

I absolutely love Yia Yia's Ice Cream Shoppe! Whenever I'm in Williamson I try to stop by any chance I get for the delicious Ice cream and shakes. The owner is so kind and she's very hands on with her business and treats her employees with kindness and her customers like family. You can order inside or outside at a window. On nice days you can eat outside on a spacious patio with plenty of tables and chairs to enjoy your treat. The inside has tables and seating and is always clean and the vibe is cheerful and relaxed. The servings are quite large and you will get a good deal for a good price. There's so many options to choose from so it may take you a little while to decide but the staff is understanding and pretty patient. Excellent ice cream with high quality toppings and great service. Yia Yia's is the only place I've visited in years that properly makes a full-sized banana split and that uses an actual banana boat container instead of slopping it into a styrofoam bowl. They use whole peanut pieces and sliced strawberries rather than crushed bits of each. You'll appreciate the care they take in making your ice cream. Highly recommended!

When driving to work in Williamson from Webster this past week one of their employees was speeding- reckless driving. On my bumper almost re-ended me. I usually hope if someone is driving that reckless it’s for an emergency& is necessary. Nope! Saw them peel into the parking lot towards the back. It was before 11am& the place doesn’t open till 12pm. Not sure there was a legit emergency. Maybe that person needs to learn some better time management if they’re a manager-which I would assume as they were the only car in the lot- to better protect those around them that they almost crashed into.
