Two weeks in a row we’ve visited Compadres for breakfast. Having lived in Houston for five years, I can tell you that NY Mexican is just trash. Not Compadres! Their food is authentic, fresh, flavorful and their American options are true to form as expected. Try the breakfast burrito - it’s large enough to share. Put the red sauce on it. A little spicy, a little Smokey. It’s GOOD! For something extra special get the Sopes! They’re naturally gluten free for whoever cares but for me, they’re delicious hand made open face corn dumplings with cheese, beans, quest fresco, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, avocado, and whatever meat you like (I got steak). Damn delicious! Worth a visit.

Compadres is a great little diner that serves both Mexican and American cuisine. They have a wide array of choices on the menu, and serve breakfast all day. I ordered take out and the order was done in less than 10 minutes. The quesadillas I had were fantastic! The service is very good and the staff is friendly. Other great choices on the menu include tacos, burritos, tostadas, and sandwiches. Prices are reasonable. This is a fairly new restaurant and it is very popular. Make sure you stop by and give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

My fiancé and just happened to be passing by trying to find a place to eat as we aren’t too local. I’m glad we did, the food was fresh and amazing. The corn tortillas for our tacos were homemade and you can tell there’s pride and passion in what they serve. These were the best tacos I’ve eaten since moving to NY from the West Coast and everyone in the kitchen to our server were a pleasure! Thank you for a great experience! 💖

Ordered the burrito and half way thru the meal bit into a chewy something that turned out to be a large elastic hair tie! The waitress apologized, but didn't offer to replace the meal, ask if I wanted something else or even clear the plate. I made it clear I couldn't take another bite of the burrito. She walked away and later came back to ask if we were ready for the bill. Someone from the kitchen came out and also apologized, said the kitchen had no idea how it happened, explained that all kinds of strange things are happening there, and that the place is "haunted." Don't think we can go back there. Am still gagging at the thought of chewing on someone's hair tie. On the plus side we didn't have to wait for a table - guess I...

This place is a sleeper hit in the Saratoga area. This family owned and operated, Mexican inspired diner is one of my absolute favorite places to eat in the area. Their all day breakfast features generous portions and is so tasty but their wheelhouse is authentic Mexican cuisine. The tacos are killer and their home made salsas that come with their Mexican dishes are SO good. Someone at a table next to me just asked if they could buy a bottle. The staff are so friendly and the place is quiet and cozy. It's not that fanciest looking place but it feels like a friendly local joint with great food. I've come here 4 times now and they never miss. I love this place and they deserve way more attention. Definitely try it out!...
