Hahn-a-Lula Resort — Restaurant in Town of Wolf River

We camped 3 nights. The site was nice. The fish cleaning station was large, in good shape, and kept clean. The piers for boat docking were very convenient. There was an older gentleman at the bar who seemed irritated when I went in to ask if people were allowed to fish from the piers. (Yes they are.) There was only one shower, so it was common for there to be a wait. The biggest issue was lack of enforcement of quiet hours. I didnt see any specific times posted, but they typically start at 10pm. There were several groups of revelers who did not even attempt to be quiet (continuously loud voices, slamming car doors, etc). There was one group that kept it up until 3am all three nights. This same group had a profanity laced verbal altercation around 10 on Friday night. It went on for some time, and the report I got the next day was that there was a representative from the facility that came out to try and quiet things down. Im glad my kids were not along...

We went there on mother's day and treated very rudely by the host. First thing out of her mouth was we stopped serving buffet at 1:00 and it's menu only. This was said in a strong tone. We said the menu is fine. Second thing out of her mouth was I am not seating anymore people you would have to find a place at the bar. Again very rudely. Plus you could see many open tables in the dining area. She looked in the bar and said I don't see a table big enough for you. (7 of us). At that point we decided to take our money somewhere else. We've been there before and the food and people have been awesome. The only reason for the bad review is your host. If she didn't want to be there she...

Snail slow service...took nearly 2 hours to get our food. Took a half hour just to get a waitress to get drinks and place said order....then they messed up our order, got wrong type of potatoes and then they forgot the mushrooms & onions we ordered. Asked for A-1 but never got that either... Waitrress never came back around to check on us or see if we wanted another drink. Add insult to injury they tried billing us for items we did not get. NOT a good first impression...we probably will never go...
