Last Shot Lounge — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

Our server was very nice, my wine was great. Calamari was also great. Atmosphere was strange, at best, It felt like a very nice bar with a small restaurant added on to the front. I ordered the steak dish Mari e something else, though it was definitely a strange cut off steak the first time she brought it out the real problem is that it was so over well done, and I ordered it medium. Because of how long it took for anyone to check on how our food was my boyfriend was practically done eating by the time I got to say that my steak was way overcooked. I really just wanted to send it away and leave when he was finished but our nice waitress offered for them to remake it and put it in there to go back and she was very apologetic and great with the whole thing, I get home and open my bag of to-go food and the steak that they put in the to-go box was even more questionable, (a really bad cut)and the shrimp that we're on my plate from the beginning are now in my to go box as well even though I was told that they remade the entire thing.( So now I'm arriving home with shrimp cooked over an hour ago seven on soggy bread) Just seriously disappointing experience, way too expensive of a dish for putting meat that I wouldn't even buy at the grocery store on my plate....

I dine at this place a lot and can't complain about the food, salmon is something you want to try if you're into fish. But I just had my baby shower so I used them for the catering, I just want to let everyone know it was worth every penny. I got a bunch of food, 8 different trays of pastas, meats and salads and vege meals. It all came with bread, butter packets spoons for the trays. You got everything you needed. The chef was amazing and called me to stay on top of the order and to see if I wanted to change anything or if I needed anything else. They even called me to ask me how everything was. Mario's is a small cozy restaurant with an even smaller Bar (space). The food at Mario's is always so delicious! Every single dish to include appetizers are so mouth watering, full of flavor, like they say "a party in the taste buds". During my last visit I had the bacon wrapped Scallops as an appetizer and OMG DELICIOUS!!! The music is always so pleasant taking you down to memory lane. They have a good wine list, and their beer list so much to choose from, it is hard to decide. The female bathroom is always clean always a plus, but don't go to Mario's if you want a quiet dinner as the dinning area is loud. Finally try to away from the bread as you will eat the whole loaf without realizing it, so...
