Tacos Express — Restaurant in Town of Woodbury

First time ordering for Pick Up from here and told the employee I was a first timer as well. Ordered two orders of chicken quesadillas and a side salad. Opened my food to find it so unappealing.... everything was soggy and mushy. The beans had NO texture whatsoever and looked like a soup on the side. Quesadillas were filled with grated cheese and a couple of pieces of lettuce. Again everything was just like Mush inside. The beans and rice were okay... just a little over cooked and had no texture as well. The only thing that I was extremely happy about was the Salad. I can’t believe I spent $34 on disgusting food. I contemplated calling back to get a refund but then didn’t because I would have to waste gas going back there. Never ordering from here again. Save your...

Delicious and authentic! Ordered 2 pork tacos fully loaded and the 3 chimichangas platter by phone. They said 15 minutes and it was ready for pickup in 15 minutes. The flavor and texture was perfect. Homemade hot sauce was included without asking and salsa verde was included with the tacos. The hot sauce had a good kick to it, spicy hot like I like it. Although the chimichangas were on the small size, there was a generous portion of homemade guacamole, refried beans n cheese, and rice. There was plenty of food for 2 people with leftovers for lunch. I would go out of my way to come back here....

Taco express was the worst taco experience I've ever had. They claim to be authentic but the only thing authentic was the horrible taste and overpricing. Its not hard to mess up empanadas, but somehow taco express also did that. And to top it off, there was hair in my taco, which is where I drew the line and stopped eating the meal all together. Taco express claims to be something they are not. If they want to claim to be authentic Mexican style tacos, I think the chef should either learn the meaning of authenticity or practice...
