Pizza Stop — Restaurant in Trail Creek

Do not pass on this pizza joint! This is a must stop if you are in the Michigan City area. The pizza and wings are absolute fire. The wife and I ordered the Jerkfredo w/ hot honey, and let me tell you, this is the best pizza we’ve ever had!

My son insisted that he wanted wings “boneless”, which they don’t offer, and he won’t eat them traditionally. However, we gave them a try and wow, my son devoured them. I was able to sneak one in, and they were smoked and seasoned to perfection! They only few minor complaints that I would have, is that they don’t offer many options for drinks and don’t offer traditional silverware. It is definitely more setup for Takeout versus dine in.

After rave local reviews, we decided to try Pizza Stop and are so glad we did. Laid back, friendly, speedy service. Food was a 20 out of 10! I don't know how to say what was better out of the Philly Steak pizza and the brisket loaded fries. The fries were HUGE, loaded is an understatement, and could easily feed 2-3 hungry people as a side. The pizza was cooked perfectly, had amazing flavor, and the lack of grease was a godsend for me. I had to grab the breadsticks after seeing them in a photo, another win, texture was awesome, garlic and butter were perfectly paired, and neither was overdone. Ordered a pizza with pepperoni, tomato and spinach and 5 wings they were supposed to be lemon pepper. When we get there to pick up they said they were out of spinach so they put arugula on it, umm what? So you didn’t bother to call us and let us know you were out of spinach and ask if we wanted something else you just put something else on there that you wanted. Then the wings tasted nothing like lemon pepper they were actually sweet tasting. The pizza itself wasn’t good either. For $35 yea no thanks. And also how about you clean your front door as well it’s pretty nasty walking in and see all kind of dirty finger prints all over the door. So will never be returning here again.
