Cherry Country Cafe & Gift Shop Inc. — Restaurant in Traverse City

Knowingly charging a wrong price than advertised for a bottle of wine, but continuing the sales transaction is a misappropriation of funds aka bait & switch and is illegal. Given that the transaction was concluded with no reparation of funding, the cafe should be fined. The dark haired girl refused to give me the $2 difference (plus I had already tipped!) and was inappropriate when I suggested they fix the sign - now. They also REFUSED to give me contact info for a manager or owner. Sadly, I suppose this place enjoys blatantly cheating people. Bad wine - $10 & disappointment. Kids running...

I purchased a cell phone charger (for $40) from this gift shop when I had forgotten mine on a recent trip. When I went to use the charger, it did not work, requiring me to find yet another way to charge my phone on my trip. Upon my return to TVC, I approached owner Ron about issuing me a refund. Ron refused to plug the charger in (still with a tag from the shop) to validate that he had sold me a bad product and would not offer me a refund, instead insisting that I take home another charger as an exchange, which at this point I didn't need. Atmosphere is really nice for being a little Airport cafe. All the staff was super nice and joking away with all of us. Which was not easy because there were delays of airline flights of 12 hours and more. So they were swamped with people. Food was delicious and coffee was great too! Thank you so much!
