So good! The best way to describe their tacos are more like large open-face burritos. Stopped by this place a few times during our trip. Unfortunately for us but good for them business was so amazing two different days we visited because they had sold out of lobster but I totally get it because they’re freakin amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. We tried the jerk pork taco, the beef taco, fried chicken taco, shrimp taco, fried chicken basket, and eventually the lobster roll (not all in one sitting). Everything is fresh and made on the spot. They also have a nice range of beverages. My only suggestion is that if a beverage is sold out is to take it off of display or have a little sign or tag displaying that it’s sold out.

Got the fried Chicken Sandwich on a cold October day and it changed my whole perspective of a good one. Super flaky breading, juicy and fibrous white meat, and some brown sauce that I can't really describe but was very good! The cole slaw also contributed to my newfound love for the side-dish, for after a few encounters I believe every establishment in Maine knows how to make a good slaw. I heard there is a place in Portland, OR, running the same chicken sandwich recipe and they have been the latest rave in that city. The difference is you will be ordering this one out of a cute little airstream and eating it on a brightly colored picnic table. Cool!

Even if it's out of your way, come here and eat. You won't be disappointed! Our airbnb host told us to go here for lunch. She recommended a taco. I expected two small tacos. I was in for a surprise. One large amazing taco. It was so good. The chicken was juicy and not dry! We also ordered a side of fries. My favorite kind of fries. We also got our food within the time we were told it be out. We sat at the picnic tables and enjoyed the warmth of the sun.

If a place is “cute” is that now an automatic 5 star rating? Seems so now for a lot of people.

Stopped here about a week ago. Everyone had the fried chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were just a bunch of little pieces in a cup. I like salty fries but these were way over salted. I really was not happy with the fries as the were a bit soggy yet looked overcooked.

The chicken sandwich probably was good if I could taste the chicken over the sauce. The sauce they use was overpowering any flavor from the chicken. The chicken did seem to be good when I got a piece near the end without sauce. I guess you have to know to order with the sauce on the side? I expect that sauce is to complement the dish, not overpower.

You order at the window and the woman was friendly. Food came out in a reasonable time.

Just under $100 for 4 chicken sandwiches and fries, 1 hot dog and 2 drinks with tax/tip. For me that’s too much for chicken I can’t discern from sauce and too salty fries.

Sorry, not overly interested...

If you are in search of a place guaranteed to leave your stomach full and soul happy you should definitely try Quietside Snacks! It is an amazing option that will satisfy your cravings while leaving you in a good mood!

I was thrilled with the quality of food I received, the portions sizes and friendliness of the staff! As someone with a gluten sensitivity I was really pleased that they had a gluten free bun option, as well as a vegetarian quinoa burger alternative.

It was a very relaxed and fun environment that offers outdoor seating at picnic tables and chairs around two fire pits. Your order is taken at the airstream window, then the meal is efficiently completed and brought out to you (either to your car or table)! In the summer they have live music as well!

Super kid & dog friendly so bring your whole crew! As well as staying open all year round, which is hard to find on the island, this place is...
