Sweet Tee Grille — Restaurant in Troy

New to the Carolinas. Met a friend here for lunch. I ordered the taco salad. It was a soupy mess in the bottom (I ordered it with. the ground beef), it was very small and the tomatoes were hard and flavorless. I also ordered a Margarita; had no alcohol. But none of this mattered, because I saw a ROACH scurry across the floor. I put my fork down and was done. I didn’t make a scene because I didn’t want to upset my friend. So I didn’t say anything. I will not be back and I will not recommend to anyone I know. Also, I went to the bathroom and had to go through a glass door to get to that area. The windows were filthy. Well for starters my mother in law and I went to pick up lunch from the pool for the kids. The waitress waiting on us MUST have been new because she could not answer any question we had without asking someone else. I understand, we have to start somewhere. We waited for 30 minutes on 3 orders of chicken tenders and 3 tacos, which I'm sure she said came with rice and beans...but did not! I will try again... This is a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal in Troy. Both times I have had delicious food and great service, and the portions are notably generous. Having vegetarians in my family, there are options they can enjoy, too. Last evening I had mixed vegetables served on a bed of rice topped with cheese sauce, and I ordered a side of black beans for added protein. It was scrumptious! Check out Sweet Tee Grille!...
