Usually a quick and great place to grab Chinese. Their service has gotten tremendously slow. Ordered online, left 40 minutes later to pick up, then aired almost an hour at the restaurant. Ordered two dinner combos so nothing crazy or huge. Too bad as the family loves this place but it isn’t worth an hour and a half to get what should be 20-30 minutes tops.

UPDATE Went back again. Same result. Ordered and was told 25 minutes. Went to store an hour later the. Waited another 20 minutes . This time I was a little smarter. Had not been charged so left a note saying cancel my order and walked out. Got a voicemail 5 minutes later saying “we didn’t see you” and that our order was ready. I had walked in, spoken to the woman at the counter and gave her the last 4 digits of my number. Didn’t see me?! Finally done with this place. I highly suggest finding somewhere to go besides this restaurant. I don’t know what has happened to it. Used to just be outstanding. Now slow and my wife finally tells me that the food isn’t even as good as it used to be. Going to Ho Wah at 16 and Dequindre in the future which is only a 5-10 minutes drive from...

We've been eating Wong's takeout for roughly 20 years, usually the Dinner for Two or Three. I've raved before that it was simply the best Chinese Takeout in the region. Savory and well seasoned, the A.B.Chicken was always a favorite that we'd come back to again and again.

Today everything was different.

The Kung Pow Chicken was not diced and had no peppers in it whatsoever (neither bell pepper nor chilli pepper). This collection of chicken, vegetables, and peanuts is okay but the omission of chili peppers in particular leaves it under seasoned.

The Beef and Broccoli was acceptable, and least changed from the old recipe. The broccoli was under, which is an entirely subjective change.

The Almond Chicken sauce, once a staple is now bland. While the breading is still light and crisp (though no longer served over lettuce) the sauce is disappointing. It used to go excellently over both the chicken and rice it's now just kind of a bland fatty runny mess. It's almost more chicken gravy then sauce.

Unfortunately these changes have taken the best Chinese restaurant in the area and make it...

Getting carryout from here (6 times a month for 4 years...now about 3 times a month). The food is better than others around...especially my lemon chicken. With the amount that we've ordered, of course we've had some wrong/missing items on occasion. Beware, if you order crab wontons, sauce does NOT come with it (every other restaurant we've ever been to does). Sometimes my husband mentions at his next order if something was missing or not right...however, when they gave me sweet & sour chicken instead of lemon chicken, I didn't like it and my dinner went to waste. So, that time my husband let's them know and asks if they will replace it. The VERY RUDE response to a regular customer is NO, WE DON'T MAKE MISTAKES. We spend a lot of money here, and we're not asking for something for free...simply asked for you to give us the food we...

1st time to eat at this place. I ordered the Orange chicken which was very soggy and it was lacking flavor I also ordered the chicken curry which was OK. The meals we ordered were a combo which came with fried rice and an egg roll, the egg roll did not taste good, the fried rice was acceptable. I also got a few of the Spring rolls which taste OK. Most likely I will not go back to this restaurant unless I am in a rush

Pleasantly surprised! Wong’s is a small takeout Chinese food restaurant in our neighborhood that we’ve never tried, but I wish we had sooner. The quality of the food was excellent and it was full of flavor. The food was promptly ready under 15 minutes for a 4 entree meal. Plus the value of the food we received for the price was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again.

The beef and broccoli combo was amazing!! The pad Thai chicken was also good but I would recommend to ask for some spice. The dinner rolls are very fluffy and sweet highly recommend but I am not a fan of the chicken and shrimp egg rolls.
