My recent visit to Zeno's Italian Restaurant left me feeling thoroughly disappointed and unlikely to return. Despite my initial anticipation, the experience fell short in several aspects, from an underwhelming Stromboli to unprofessional service, and even neglected tea glasses. Regrettably, I cannot overlook these shortcomings in my overall assessment.
First and foremost, the Stromboli I ordered at Zeno's Italian Restaurant was mediocre at best. It failed to deliver the flavors and quality I had anticipated. The filling lacked depth and failed to excite my taste buds. While I understand that taste can be subjective, this particular Stromboli left much to be desired, with only a minuscule amount of pepperoni. The flavor of pepperoni was incredibly disappointing, as it deprived the dish of its promised and anticipated flavor.
Additionally, the pizza fries, which are typically a delightful indulgence, were a letdown at Zeno's Italian Restaurant. The amount of bacon on them was barely noticeable, failing to provide the savory burst that one expects from bacon cheese fries. This lack of attention to detail and sparse toppings further diminished the enjoyment of an otherwise enticing dish.
Moreover, despite specifically requesting marinara sauce, I was once again given ranch dressing at Zeno's Italian Restaurant. This oversight disrupted the intended taste combination and further detracted from the overall experience. Attention to customer preferences and accuracy in fulfilling orders should be a priority to ensure customer satisfaction.
In addition to the underwhelming food, the service I received at Zeno's Italian Restaurant was unprofessional. I was taken aback when our waitress brought our food to the table while engrossed in a personal phone conversation. This lack of regard for the customer and the dining experience was disheartening and demonstrated a disregard for professional conduct.
Furthermore, the neglectful service continued throughout our visit at Zeno's Italian Restaurant. Not only was the service unprofessional, but our tea glasses remained empty for extended periods, despite the restaurant not being busy. This lack of attentiveness to basic customer care, including the failure to refill tea glasses, left us feeling neglected and undervalued as patrons.
In summary, my experience at Zeno's Italian Restaurant was truly disappointing. The underwhelming Stromboli, the scant amount of bacon on the pizza fries, the inaccurate sauce, the unprofessional delivery of food while the waitress was on the phone, and the neglectful service, including the empty tea glasses, all contributed to a lackluster dining experience. While it is important to acknowledge that every establishment can have its off days, the cumulative effect of these shortcomings left a lasting negative impression.
I sincerely hope that Zeno's Italian Restaurant takes this feedback constructively and strives to make improvements. Enhancing the quality of the Stromboli, ensuring accuracy in orders, providing attentive service, including refilling tea glasses, and fostering professionalism among the staff are all crucial steps towards creating a more satisfying dining experience. Unfortunately, based on my visit, I cannot recommend Zeno's Italian Restaurant as a reliable option for a flavorful Stromboli, enjoyable dining experience, or...
Read moreI have been eating at Zeno's Italian restaurant for the past several years, at least once or twice a month, and never once had a complaint. However, this past Saturday, June 20th, my mother, best friend (from out of town) and I went to eat there to celebrate our Birthdays (because all three are in June). This was the worst experience ever. My friend and I ordered the Chicken Alfredo in which we were served side salads first. Both of us had to send our salads back because the lettuce was wet and brown. They brought us new salads that were correct. Then when we got our Chicken Alfredo and it was terribly sour. We both had to send those back too and decided to just eat pizza fries. If this was not bad enough, when we went up front to pay, they charged us for salads (which should have been discounted as part of the meal, but they charged us full price) and for the fries etc. I told the manager that I didn't feel that we should pay for the salad because we would not have ordered a salad that it came with the Alfredo but he refused to take it off stating that he would have remade the Alfredo, I'm sorry but after smelling and tasting that soured Alfredo, there was no way I could have ate Alfredo from there again. Customer service there is terrible. They didn't have to give our food for free but they could have at least took off for the salads (that were brown in the beginning and that was included with the soured chicken...
Read moreHorrible look at the picture these were mild wings no taste unless you call the grease at the bottom of the carton a flavor. Fried to death so hard it was unable to be eaten. The smell was horrible. The chef salad was a joke and warm. Basically the salad was shredded lettuce, 4 pieces of tomato, some lunch meat ham and turkey pulled apart to cover the lettuce and cheese. This place use to be wonderful obviously it has new ownership. The place is totally run down. There was a layer of dust over the business card holders the walls had places all over them where someone had something hanging with pieces of tape and ripped off the kitchen was dirty looking. The place is run way way down. Just by the looks of the place you question how clean it actually is. I have worked in the industry and I can tell you the temp on the salad was way off. The wings were frozen before being placed in the fryer causing this kind of problem with petrified hard wings. I gave the staff 20 percent tip on a call in order because they can't help this management or owner...
