My wife and I stopped during our vacation. The BYOB policy was great. The service was very good. The food was undesirable, however.

We ordered a bowl of the New England clam chowder which was underseasoned and a little watery. We split the lobster rolls entrée and substituted fries for the roasted potatoes and veggies. The Lobster Rolls, although generously portioned with lobster, was put into a plain roll and covered in a "gravy" which was bland. Im not sure why they dont use a traditional drawn butter which would've been acceptable. The vegetables were steamed and were very plain (bland is the theme here). The roasted potatoes were something of a "left over" type. They are not made to order and probably sit in a pan all day. The potatoes were disappointing at best.

All in all this place has the potential to do so well. Amazing location with great views. We had high hopes as there are so many excellent reviews but expectations fell short in the kitchen for...

A special occasion for us. Worst experience ever Sat night. We arrived 15 early for a 6:30 reservation. They asked us to wait, NP. Yet another couple arrived 10 minutes after us, reservation same time slot & were seated immediately. When questioned we were told they made their reservation a few weeks prior to us. REALLY?? When demonstrating being upset Mia came & asked to b quiet & were offered a table offf to a corner. A window table had been requested. Finally this tiny table for 2 was provided. Our wine couldn't be kept chilled since no room for bucket to keep it chilled. Same waitress had to request permission to allow us to get apps bf ordering dinner. Noise level was incredibly high & app of calamari was undercooked we just paid for appetizers & left. Located a nice place to celebrate in AC. We have dined in fine restaurants in the area for years. Beautiful setting on the bay. Formerly Panini Bay, now under new ownership. Arrived on a Wednesday, 12:30pm, because it gets rather busy at dinner. Menu items pretty pricey, but, what isn't anymore? I don't expect good seafood for cheap. Ordered fried clams for appetizer. Also was able to try the fried calamari. The clams were golden brown and crispy. Very good. The calamari was wide big pieces ,a little thicker than I like, but ok. My friend thought they were great. Tried lobster roll, and crab cake sandwich. The lobster roll was one of the better ones I've had,although very small. The crab cake was good, but left more to be desired. Seemed like frozen vs. Homemade. Both came with fries. They serve bottled Italian water at $8 each. BYOB. service was very slow, one waitress for the whole room. About 6 tables were seated. Very pleasant though. Ill go back again next income tax return season....
