WARNING: THIS KITCHEN DOESN'T TAKE EVEN THE SLIGHTEST ATTEMPT AT AVOIDING GLUTEN CROSS-CONTAMINATION!!!
I am writing to express my disappointment with Domino's Pizza's handling of their gluten-free pizza. I am gluten intolerant, and I am very careful about avoiding gluten. I ordered a gluten-free pizza from Domino's, and I was horrified to see that the kitchen staff cut my pizza with a pizza cutter that had large amounts of crumbs and sauce from the previous pizzas.
This is a complete disregard for the safety of gluten-free eaters. Cross-contamination is a serious issue for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance, and it can make us very sick. I am sure that the kitchen staff at Domino's did not mean to make me sick, but their actions were careless and irresponsible.
I am not the only one who has had this experience. There are many other reports of Domino's not taking the necessary precautions to prevent cross-contamination. In fact, the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) has specifically warned celiac sufferers against eating at Domino's.
I am very disappointed in Domino's. I thought that they would be more careful about cross-contamination, especially since they offer a gluten-free pizza. While a waring is given about the pizza being prepped in a common kitchen, it suggests there are some sort of attempt at avoiding cross-contamination, which isn't the case. I will not be ordering from Domino's again, and I urge other gluten-free eaters to avoid this...
Read moreWe have ordered for the last time from this store. The food quality has dropped significantly in the six months we have lived here and the delivery times have dropped. I have called the store multiple times asking that the manager call me and nothing but crickets.
The above is enough to never spend another penny with them as they do not care about customers, which is bad enough. Worse, they do not care about their employees either. Without bragging, I am a big tipper. From years of getting deliveries from the same drivers, I know that I am the exception as the vast majority of folks do not tip. Despite that fact, I am always the last delivery on the delivery person's route. Tips or not, they deliver the closest food first. While that may make some sense, it certainly does not provide an incentive to tip, since ensuring prompt service is not something they care about. Domino's charges a $5 delivery fee, none of which goes to the driver and the drivers largely live on tips. The response I got from this store when pointing that out was, "well then, just don't tip."
Pathetic. Stores like this ruin the brand. Dominos, I doubt you are paying attention. Covid brought you record profits. You just lost a decades long customer who ordered multiple times a month. I am confident I won't be...
Read moreToday was a bad for Domino's. Ordered a 2 topping pizza, boneless wings and cookie for 5:15 PM. Showed up a couple minutes early and it started to look like my order was done, but it appears they put in the wrong wings. Did they come to me and let me know or tell me that it was going to take a bit longer? NO!!. 15 minutes later my order is completed, almost. An employee mentioned that the wings needed Habanero sauce. In less than a second, I was handed my order without the sauce. I reminded them that I needed my sauce like the other employee mentioned. They took my order away from to check to see that no sauce was added. Of course it wasn't the one employee mentioned that it was needed and in the one second between the time he said that and they handed the order to me how did they think the sauce would appear within the order? By magic? After the checked all the boxes and the receipt to ensure I was not trying to rip them off, they reluctantly handed me my order back with sauce. As I look at my previous review I wonder why I keep going back. Word to the wise, avoid this Domino's so you don't have to worry about getting cold pizza, cold cookie...
