Ramiros Mexican Food — Restaurant in Tucson

Vero took our order via the drive thru and immidiately I began to have doubts about our choice for dinner this evening. We ordered a carne asada torta, super fries, rolled tacos, and a chicken quesadilla. She repeated the order back but said super nachos instead of fries and quickly stated she would have total at window. I tried correcting the mistake while still at the speaker but did not receive a response so we continued to the window. When she finally came to the window with our total, we advised her of the superfries, not nachos as she had previously stated. She assurred us that our order had been entered correctly so we paid for our food just prior to Vero disappearing out of sight indefinately.7 Glanced at the receipt to see that our chicken quesadilla was listed as a cheese quesadilla. Which tried to get someone's attention from inside but we were ignored for several minutes before getting out of the car and walking inside the dining room to find Vero sitting at a table taking a break. I was hesitant to interrupt her but knowing the item ordered was for a very pickey 4 yr so i chose to keep my kid content and told the lady that I was from the drive-thru and the cheese quesadilla on the receipt should have been a chicken quesadilla. She rang me up for a side of extra meat and charged our card again. I then left the lobby to go back into the car at the drive-thru and we waited several more minutes prior to her slamming open the window and rudely shoving our food out at us. We quickly asked her for extra green salsa before she could slam the window shut again and her response was that they didn't have any  salsa at all to give us with ur order. Was a very condescending tone she smirked and stated have a nice day and slammed the window shut. Had I have been the one driving, I would have pulled backvaround  to the lobby and brought the food inside and demanded my money back.

The whole experience was so unfortunate, used to be one of my favorite places to grab a quick bite but now  I doub't I will ever go there again. I mean really, no salsa...

Went inside on Thursday late afternoon, a it was extremely hot inside the restaurant, I asked the very nice young lady behind the counter why the ac was not on and they told me that the owner is dealing with getting the ac repaired, went in again on Saturday afternoon , and the really nice young lady behind the counter said that the owner has not fixed it as of yet, so both times the experience was horrible because the owner has not fixed it, it should be a crime to work those people behind that counter in a place e so hot with a grill and hot oil.... it.was extremely hot inside the restaurant, I can't imagine being forced to work in the resturant with no ac and all the heat.... if this is how they treat their employees I will not...

I keep forgetting my OWN review of this location. As of 8/24 still TERRIBLE!! Updating my review. As of 7/15/23 this place has gone down hill very fast. The quality of the food is terrible now. They changed their meat or something but their Carne asada is VERY VERY VERRRRRY GREASY. THE tortilla even falls apart and the employees dont relly care. Only way I come back is IF they change their ways and knock on my front door with a personal invite. Since they dont have my address, take a guess as to whats going to happen, SAD !!!! End of update.
