9 Iron Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Tulare

My daughter plays golf for the school & have been told that the food is great, the onion rings were good, the buffalo & BBQ wings with fries were good, the steak my husband ordered was good too. With good outcomes for all of our other food I was anticipating a bomb salad. Unfortunately the steak salad was VERY VERY disappointing. For $15 I got chopped salad & eggs with super fatty meat. There was no edible meat in my salad at all, each bite was just fat so it resulted in me spitting each piece of meat I tried to eat out till I gave up and just threw my salad away. I’m a salad eater & love trying different restaurants salads but to order a $15 salad full of fat was beyond disappointing… Definitely will not order any type of salad here. But the other food my family said was delicious...

The country fried potatoes were delicious and crunchy and it had the perfect amount of cheese. The steak and eggs were good but the steak had a lot of fatty pieces. Everything was delicious and the server was very friendly and kept our drinks full.

I rated the atmosphere 4 stars only because there were a couple of ladies gossiping at the check out counter and what they were talking about was not something that should be discussed in an area where everyone can hear. The 9 Iron Bar and grill is THE place to eat breakfast in Tulare. The atmosphere is relaxed and the building has been completely updated and remodeled. The large windows allow you to get out of the summer heat but still feel as if you're dining outside. Now for the food.....The chicken fried steak was scrumptious, served with gravy, eggs and home fries.... even the buttery wheat toast was delicious. The service is outstanding and Paula is amazing!
