The food is good and in my opinion the burritos are the best in the whole area. I have just one gripe that should be addressed not only for customers but the workers. This only really applies to summer time. Like I said the burritos are the best in the area in my opinion and they are my go to for the best breakfast and brisket burritos. I drive all the way from Alamogordo to eat them. Unfortunately everytime I go there in the summer it is hot in the building. When I go to eat I am loving the food and feel so good and satisfied when I eat but I also come out of there like I had a light pre workout warmup. I came to eat not to have a sauna experience. Anyways hope this helps. I'm sure the workers also won't complain because every time I go there they are wiping sweat from their brow not only from their hard work but the uncomfortable summer warmth in the building. No complaints at all about the temperature there during the winter because cold doesn't bother me at all. Oh and the chips with green salsa is also very good. It looks really basic but it has a lot of character and flavor and I eat multiple baskets of chips and...

HOWEVER, yesterday I bought a pineapple empanada. When I started to eat it I noticed a slight spoiled taste. I didnāt think much of it since I eat kimchi and drink kombucha, then I went to bedā¦š¤¢. All night my stomach hurt and I had nausea. I had to take today off of work. Not a good feeling. I tried calling Loredo this morning, just to let them know so that they can maybe replace the empanadas with fresh ones, but no one answered and there was no option to leave a message. The browser said they were on Facebook but I couldnāt find them. So, this review is all I can do to give them and you as the consumer, a heads up. Donāt eat the pineapple empanadas.
Note: this is the only time I had a problem with their pastries. Never had problems with their food. I will still buy food from there, minus...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am never disappointed when I stop at this delightful little Mexican restaurant and bakery!!! The bakery is the bonus!!! This is real Mexican food my friends! The rice and beans never ever disappoint. Quaint. Family owned. Unassuming. The food speaks for itself. You can dine in or order takeout. Itās fast. But the flavors are savory. I would stand them side by side with any restaurant that serves alike dishes. I am impressed and delighted when planning a trip from Nogal NM to Alamogordo, I wait and a shredded beef burrito, come in a glass bottle and some lovely bakery item. Please try this place out. You will not be disappointed!! Childrenās...
