Having never tried MASA's food from their truck, I was not sure exactly what to expect when I learned that they had recently opened a brick-and-morter. Luckily, my friend was willing to try out MASA for our weekly Friday dinner. I am personally very glad we made that choice!

That interaction alone more than made up for the lack of seating.
I wound up ordering a batch of the Yuca fries (which will have me coming back time and time again to MASA; they were sooo good, and the sauce that accompanied them was my favorite) and a 6-pack of empanada. Customer service is always nice it's lovely that they make the empanadas to order and not for the day,so you do have to wait 10 minutes at most. They have a food truck that opens in Midtown on Thursdays unfortunately the timing is so short I never get to catch it and that's way closer to my vicinity than the 81st...
