Subway — Restaurant in Tumwater

I couldn’t give a zero star so gave a 1. Went into this subway and placed order got food. Never given receipt. Got a meal and cookie. White macadamia nut. Left and took bite out of cookie, second bite got a crunch. Looked at cookie had a black piece of something. Spit out the bite and that had black pieces. Saw another long black piece inspected closer it was a leg of a bug. So went back to the subway. When we spoke to two different employees about this all we got was this is not our problem we have no control over any of the items. I’m sorry but yes they do. Even a frozen product that you thaw and bake is you’re problem. If there is an issue with said item. What I felt was worse is didn’t even offer an apology at all. Just we have no control over this. From the start of order the people seemed upset or irritated with something. I worked at subway for a long long time. Never was treated the way we were today. None had a smile on there face and just seemed to want to get done for the day. Trust me that I get it when dealing with customers. They don’t seem to have respect for themselves let alone a customer. That was not the case 4 years ago. I will never step foot in a subway let alone this...

Friday 11/01/2024 around 10:30 AM a mean female young lady was serving at Subway with bad attitude. I provided the date and time so that management can pinpoint who this employee was whom had no etiquettes to deal with customers. I just asked her to put some tomatoes on my sandwich from the crisp looking stack and she gave me a lecture that she just cut them today. The point was not when she cut them, the point was how old was this produce that didn’t look good to my eyes (smooshed). I insisted tomatoes from my choice of stack she complied with nasty attitude but rest of the ingredients were rushed. Oh boy did she have bad attitude. For a second I wanted to say keep the sandwich I’ll go to Mc Donalds but I respected the food that was already on the sandwich. I couldn’t see it going into the trash because of her stupidity. I work in a sandwich shop that’s about 50 times as busy as this, so maybe I’m biased when it comes to providing good speed of service, but this is not the place to go for food if you’re in even a minor rush at night, especially if there’s somebody else in line. It took TEN MINUTES for the poor lonely dude to make one guy two sandwiches. I’m still in line behind another guy; I only stayed to see how long it’d take. I feel bad for him, but I feel worse for anyone else traveling on the I-5 corridor who doesn’t know what to expect. Another time I came here at night and I was told it’d be 20 minutes for the person there to do paperwork before they could serve me. Ten more minutes have passed, and the aforementioned second guy is still picking his toppings... I’m still waiting, but I don’t know if my phone battery will handle the rest of...
