Unfortunately, they don't offer a zero star rating. I live locally and believe in supporting local businesses. My wife and I attempted to eat dinner here and the parking lot was so full we had to park on the shoulder of 115. A full parking lot is usually a sign of a good place, so I was expecting a good, if not great dinning experience. I couldn't have been more wrong. I'm extremely understanding of establishments being short handed and possibly having a longer wait time to be initially served or for food to come to the table. We were seated very quickly in the very busy restaurant, which was nice. However, after 15 minutes of sitting there with our menus laying on the table because we had plenty of time to choose our food selection, we still didn't even have anyone take our drink order. Again, I am understanding of short staff and longer wait times, but there were two different parties who were seated after us and not only were their drink orders put in, but their food orders were also taken while both of the waitresses in the dining room continued to serve and service every single table around us never asking once if we were being helped. Needless to say we left and ate dinner elsewhere at a wonderful place not too far away. Woody's and it's waiting staff did not get my money nor gratuity...
Read moreFood was OK. We arrived over an hour before closing and ordered right away when the waitress took our orders. I told the waitress at the time of order that we will get the Full Slab of Ribs for the kids (6 and 8 years old to share as the children's menu items were only Pasta with Marinara or Chicken nuggets and fries). Our food did not arrive until after the restaurant was already closed. Than the waitress bombards me with "There is a $2 split plate charge." I was flabbergasted. I told her once again that its an adult entrée (more than three times the price of a children's menu item) to be shared among my kids. She said, "yeah, $2." Have you ever? My kids did not even eat more than 2 ribs from the full slab and we ended up bringing it home. My husband who also ordered a full slab had half a rack left. We might as well just ordered one full slab for the three of them to share. So as you can see.. it's not that we cant afford the $2.. it's just a matter of Principle. You don't tell us after the fact! Hire new waitress staff and we might consider coming back or at the very least add more Children's menu items so we are not FORCED to...
Read moreIf I could rate this place with a negative star I would! After walking in there was no greeting of any type and the wait staff almost looked irritated that we came to dine in. The dining area smelled of cat pee. The three waitresses that were on shift had no personality and didn't crack a smile once. It was a very uncomfortable environment to be in. The food was ok except for the fact that my brother in law ordered a cheese burger and that is literally all he received. No lettuce or tomato was included on his burger. The waitress asked if we wanted fries or chips with the children's meals so we ordered fries which when we looked at our bill at the end we were charged extra for the fries! This place is a local dive bar and we will NEVER give our business to such a poor...
