My daughter's fiance and I stopped here to get something to eat and talk awhile. We seated ourselves in a booth near the west entrance. We saw no other customers in the place. The waitress came to take our orders. My daughter's fiance casually said "hey, how are you?" to her as she approached our booth. Her response was unexpected, "I'm pregnant, tired and I think I'm getting a cold." TMI. He joked with her about her comment and she took our drink order. When she brought our beverages, she sat down beside him and took our food order...when she got up and left us, he looked at me and said, "WTH??? Why did she sit down beside me??? I told him to just forget it and scoot closer to the edge of the booth. When she returned with our food she again sat down beside him again, forcing him to move over so she could. She proceeded to tell us her story....another employee came by sweeping and our waitress said to her, " what's your story?" to which she replied, "I dont have a story, I just do my job". I took it as a hint to her coworker to get up. After a few furtive grimaces from my future son in law, I spoke up and asked her if she would excuse herself so he and I could discuss some matters. Only then did she get up and leave us.The food was "so-so" and didn't taste up to even Huddle House standards... when we finished, we waited a few minutes for the check. I had to go up to the counter to pay. No employees in sight, so I asked two other customers if they knew where they were. "I think they're in the back and he yelled out one of their names. The one who had been sweeping came out. I told her I'd like to pay for our food. She said the other waitress had to do that. As she proceeded outside to get our waitress, I told her she should let our waitress know its not appropriate to sit down with the customers. When she did get back in, as she figured up my bill, she proceeded to ask, "are you his mentor? What work do you do? I felt these questions a bit inappropriate and invasive...I gave her my card, she handed me my card and receipt. I'd had enough of her unprofessional behavior and was ready to just get out of there! I thanked her and turned to leave. "YOU HAVE TO SIGN THAT! she yelled. Seeing that there wasnt a pen for me to use, she grabbed one from behind the register and thrust it at me. Not...

So I look around the room and there is one group of people about four or five together. Also when I was scanning the room there were hardly any places to sit because there were empty dishes at most of the tables. When I found a place to sit she did ask me what I would like to drink so I said coffee and ice water please. And she kept walking about five minutes later is when I got my beverages. At that time she says I will get you some cream and sugar I a minute then she went over to the table with the group at it and took there order. When she came back to my table with the cream and sugar she asked me what I would like and I told her I haven't even received a menu yet so she gives me an excuse that it's been a long nite then she expects me to place my order rite then. I told her I will need a minute to decide what I would like. While I was looking over the menu I was adding the condiments to my coffee. I then toke a sip expecting it to be hot and it was barely luke warm at this point a little over thirty minutes had gone by and I still didn't see my waitress. I decided I was not going to eat here bc I was a little upset by this time so I decided to pay for my coffee and go. I had to get up and go to the counter to find the lady and tell her I'm just going to have the coffee. She said it would be $2.17 so I think she could see it in my face that I was not happy and she gave me the coffee for free. Witch that was the only good thing about that whole experience. I will not be going back! By the way it would not let me post this without a rating and it didn't give me an option...
ย ย ย Read moreI would like to preface this by saying the cooks were fantastic. One cook even personally asked what my food was and took the time to get it prepared.
I order my food at roughly 11:50 p.m.. I knew there would be a wait due to it being a concert going on but the app said the food was ready at 12:11 a.m. so I went to pick it up. I sat at the front for roughly 15 minutes before somebody finally approached me and asked what I was doing. Mind you, employees were walking by me left and right. I told them about my online order and that I was just waiting to pick up. I was ignored. About 20 more minutes go by so I finally ask one of the lady's working if they knew approximately when my food would be ready. They did not know. About 10 more minutes later this lady got a complete attitude and was very rude after my mother walked in to ask what was taking so long. I did not get my food until 1 a.m.
The wait was not the issue. It was the blatant disrespect and constant ignoring of waiting patrons. Horrible front staff. Kudos to those working...
