Really fun hidden gem overlooking the lake. Don't let the looks deceive you - this place has great food. The raw oysters are so fresh you can almost hear the ocean and the lobster roll is overflowing with fresh sweet lobster. The lobster mac n cheese was creamy and filled with chunks of lobster. My only negative is that they are a little heavy-handed with the Old Bay seasoning. They have a great selection of beef and even though the sangria was from a bottle, it was delicious. We will be back.

Edit: Came here with friends today on a rainy Wednesday. There was no wait and the server was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We learned that they generally only have the fresh oysters and mussels on the weekends which was disappointing but our fault for not checking. Instead, we had cheese curds and calamari for our appetizers and both ere excellent and had plenty of dipping sauces. I had a blended mango Margarita and it was good but not great - I think it was probably from a mix. I had the lobster roll and it wasn't quite as good as I remember. My previous review mentioned chunks of sweet lobster. Today it was more finely chopped and had a lot of Old Bay seasoning that took away from the fresh lobster taste. I ordered the onion rings that were excellent. For dessert my husband and I split a piece of Key Lime pie. The server had told us it was not made in-house but we took a chance. It had a distinct "freezer" taste and the lime flavor was not there. Oh well, it was worth a try. Overall, still a pretty...

The service is awful and frankly the manager is just rude. My family and I will never be coming here again. We didn’t pretend to have a reservation. We called and someone at your location didn’t write down our reservation. I have no idea why that is our fault. If it was not okay for us to seat down don’t seat us at a table, get us two high chairs, second take our kids order (We ordered our kids meal before others and the manager took the order), drink orders, then our meal orders. If we didn’t have a reservation don’t allow us to seat there the entire hour and half waiting for our lunch. Once our food came out (which was cold and burnt) a rude hostess and then the manager came over to tell us that a larger party was coming in and since we didn’t have a reservation we had to move. It’s all how you say something and approach a situation. We would have been fine to move if you came over explaining your problem in a professional manner instead you both had an attitude. Maybe you also want to take responsibility for your mistake of not writing down the res and then proceeding to give us a table(as we thought we had a res). Again none of this is our fault as we don’t manager your reservations. You just don’t treat people that way! Again your response is not at all what happened you were aggressive and frankly rude and we didn’t feel comfortable staying any longer! If you want to wait over an hour for okay food and Receive rude service by all...

Awful......started out with crab cake appetizer as to share 3 ways......awful..it was very low end canned crab , combined with some kind of mystery mix.It should have been pan sauteed with browned butter but had the mealy mushy consistency and was probably heated in the microwave..My friend ordered the Lobster Bites appetizers as her lunch and they were decent.I dared to order the Lobster Roll with sweet potato fries and cole slaw.(my 2nd home is New England so I know lobster rolls) This was AWFUL.it appeared to be a mix of some real and some fake lobster..mostly fake and was a sickly color...It went back.I changed my order to the Lobster Bites and mine came out WAY TOO SALTY.Both my friends tried the Bites and found them way over salted...That was the end of my lunch..None of the 3 of us could eat our food and just left it unfinished. Even the carry out that was taken home for my bf's husband was inedible..Come time to pay my separate check was another cluster#$@/....I got charged for cole slaw that never came, a loaded bloody Mary that I didn't order..another food I NEVER ate more than 3 bites of...NOT GOING BACK...all that being said, our waitress was nice and told us that there had been multiple bad comments on...

We enjoyed renting a boat next to this restaurant and swung by for drinks, appetizers. Ambiance was lively, and we really enjoyed the decor, theme. Food was very good and came out pretty quickly. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for our server, Marla who was quite pushy and doesn’t understand restaurant etiquette. We ordered appetizers and beers and then we ordered a few more appetizers and a burger and she was expecting all of us to order an individual meal when we just had a nice picnic on the boat and wanted to just spend more fun times with friends. Marla, after we ordered a second round of appetizers, said “That’s it?! That’s weird”. Made everyone feel awkward and bad. I own a successful restaurant also, and if my servers ever said that to our customers they would no longer be working for me. If you do what’s right, you’ll be compensated well, regardless.

Decided to stop in as my wife is recovering from surgery and needed to getaway for the afternoon. Stopped in for a few cocktails, apps, and an early dinner. Everything was wonderful, Seafood Trio Sliders were fantastic! Just a few minor observations/critiques: 1). Colorful bar chairs fit the aesthetic for the bar, but extremely uncomfortable, we had to move to the other side of bar which had older barstools. 2). Employee doing computer work at the bar is not a welcoming look. Better suited to go elsewhere out of public view. Also during shift change over, counting of till, distribution of tips, etc should be done out of public view or off to side. Patrons sitting at the bar do not need/want to see that. Otherwise keep up the great work, hope to return during the warmer months.

So, was roaming around twin lakes, and someone convinced us to try the Sand Bar. ordered some signure drink. they were excellent. they didn't have Regale Crown Apple whiskey, but not everywhere does. after all this is a tiki bar. love the food. had the surfer burger. had cheese and boom boom shrimp as a topping. outstanding. one little thing order my burger medium. and it came out done. my wife ordered hers the same way and it came out medium rare. I did not understand how two burgers cook so different. I am understanding that cooks aren't chiefs and that thin burgers are not steaks. let us not let this take away from the fun this place is. they have a great friendly fun staff. so you should check them out. I was also amazed on how busy it was.
