Fantastic food, great atmosphere, wonderful view, friendly service, tasty drinks, accomodating, fun, hip, clean & quaint.... we're definitely coming back!! Best buffalo shrimp I've ever had and my boyfriend called my grilled scallops "heaven on a fork". I loved my house-favorite cocktail too, the Funky Monkey. They're consciously open and serving in respects to the pandemic with mask requirements, limited indoor & open air seating making the experience all the better and safer for everyone. They are ECO FRIENDLY therefore they do not have straws in efforts to save the sea turtles who inhabit the area. Best added bonus for any travelers who miss their fur babies back at home is they genuinely care for beautiful & sweet stray kitties that (naturally) hang out by the shrimping piers & seafood restaurant. They are just a delightful addition to the entire experience and I hope the patrons can be as gracious and understanding as the caring staff. I just can't say enough good things about this place and very much look forward to our return.

The perfect beach eatery and bar. It has outdoor seating that faces the calm but shimmering water; the mellow marina cats lounge around the deck in the sun. It reminds you of a postcard scene! The drink I ordered from the tavern side was sweet & tasted like the island flavors I so craved. The aroma of the fresh seafood coupled with the salty air and isle ambiance was so warm and welcoming. All of the staff were very accommodating and helpful. I will plan to visit this pearl of Tybee Island again really soon. One of the brightest highlights of my entire trip. I felt like I was truly an island native and was treated accordingly. What a lovely way to end an already blessed day. * One reminder_ night cruisers you may want to take a light windbreaker or jacket of some sort. It only gets a bit nippy on the way back to the marina after the tour. Otherwise_ it was just amazing!

Coco’s Sunset Grille is a cute family friendly restaurant on the outskirts of Tybee. This was a last minute pick for my family, but it was pretty good! We all picked something shrimp related being that being the local catch. I enjoyed my fried shrimp! I choose to substitute my fries or mashed potatoes for an extra dollar because I felt like hush puppies, fries and fried shrimp would be a lot! The coleslaw and mashed potatoes were good, nothing special. However the hush puppies, fried shrimp and peel and eat shrimp was fantastic! We also had the crab dip as an appetizer. It was good and I would order it again! The chips seemed to be made in house and were a great addition to the dip. Overall, this is a laidback, family restaurant with great shrimp!

After a fun and eventful boat ride with Captain Mike we decided to have an early dinner. My family debated Bumba Gumbo’s, Stingrays, and a few other establishments before deciding on Coco’s. I mean why not? Super convenient and we knew that they would have great grilled shrimp and a good menu for kids. As we walked in Coco’s I was abruptly taken back from the out dated decor and the smell of old french fries which permeated the main entrance. After being seated, I noticed that 6 inches from my white Sperry’s was an old piece of grilled shrimp. Disgusted at the sight of the shrimp my mother reluctantly moved the old piece of shrimp for me using her left foot. As we perused the menu we were greeted by our server and attempted to order a few items as appetizers. To our surprise, many of the items were unavailable due to an issue with a shipment. Makes sense and we proceeded to order our child a chicken fingers plate. They were sold out of everything. No French fries, no lemonade, no hush puppies and the list goes on. The chicken fingers were super big and they didn’t have French fries. So imagine eating extra large chicken tenders with no fries. Sounds nauseating right? The good news is we got a to go box for them and a family friend consumed them during his evening snack. However, according to him the chicken tenders from Coco’s are not better than the chicken fingers at Flying Fish. Finally, after being told no repeatedly for the various menu items my family placed an order. I ordered a Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Lucky me, the chicken was tougher than braille and my wife’s fish taco was an enlarged tortilla with a little bit of fish. The waitress was rude and got tired of us asking questions. We could of literally went anywhere and I have officially taken Coco’s off the list. I will never eat there again nor with any of my family members. I ended up just going home and we fixed a homemade meal that tasted 150 times better. Not worth the time or money. Hard to go from The Vault to this establishment in a week....

EDIT: For the past two days since I’ve eaten here, I’ve been extremely bloated and nauseous... FOOD POISONING. I would go back and demand a refund of my bill if I wasn’t 1,500 miles away.

Horrible! My family and I arrived on a Tuesday at about 6:00 PM (there are 4 of us.) We waited for quite awhile for a server to come help us, and we placed an order for an appetizer. Things were going well, appetizer came out and it was delicious. However when we placed our dinner order with our server (who was impatient, rude, and could not answer hardly any questions might I add,) we waited nearly an HOUR for our food! And the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for at least fifteen minutes by the time we got it! I got the chicken fingers and they were dry and hard as a rock. Fries were soggy and could barely retain their shape. My mother got the shrimp wrap, and it was flavorless. I ended up sending my meal back only to get another order of slightly-less-dry and flavorless chicken fingers, which I ate two of and ended up giving the last one to the neighborhood cats (the only good part of this experience.) I asked for a box for the chicken tender that went to the cats, and my server forgot about the box. Of course. He offered a “discount” for our bad experience, but we should not have paid the $70 we did for a terrible meal. The icing on the cake is when I had to get up, go to the very front and get my box to find that all of the servers were just chatting in the back while they had a line of people out the door. If this happened at the restaurant I work at, my managers would have fired those servers on the spot.

Can’t reccommend this restaurant at all. Slow/rude service, nasty food, and...

We were a party of 7 seated at 5:30. Our server was fantastic. Drinks were delivered quickly and refills were provided without having to ask. Our appetizers even came out right away. The problem occurred when by 6:40 we still had not received our food. We had a reservation for the sunset dolphin cruise that according to my email said to arrive at 6:45 and depart at 7. We are assuming it was the manager who stopped by our table at 6:40 to ask us how everything was going. When I stated how disappointed we were that they were still seating tables and still packing people in the bar but we were now on an hour and 10 minutes without receiving food and at this point would not be able to eat our dinner after all this time, she had the audacity to give me attitude and say the cruise didn’t leave until 715. As if that made it ok we had been waiting over an hour! We finally received two sandwiches out of the seven orders. Two of our party were able to eat. The others ended up packing their food to go and leaving it in a hot car for 2 hours. We never got two of the dinners. Over $160 for food that ultimately ended up in the trash. The server was overly apologetic and you could tell she was embarrassed. She did have the manager remove the items from our check we didn’t get but the attitude we received from the manager was absolutely ridiculous and completely unapologetic! Definitely crossing this off our list of go to places. We did tip the server 25% it was not her fault at all. Looking around the restaurant we certainly were not the only ones experiencing this delay. They never should’ve been seating more tables and filling the bar without being able to service the patrons they...
