Uncle Jack’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Tyler

We learned about Uncle Jack's Kitchen from The Texas Bucket List TV program (also on YouTube). We knew we HAD to try it, since it was in Tyler ... on the way to our family in east Texas. So we tried it April 8, 2023 with my parents. We ALL LOVED IT! What's not to love right? First of all, Uncle Jack's wife was the sweetest person! They are both GOOD PEOPLE. Then there's the food of course. OMG! (it's so good, we are stopping there to eat on our way to family this weekend again! We need out Uncle Jack's fix! We had the catfish, shrimp and fish fingers. See pics. It was SO good... and we were really glad the Texas Bucket List told us to try the Sleazy Sauce ON our seafood too - Oh my goodness - it was AMAZING! We bought a bottle to take home and have been eating it on everything sinced then! There were 2 ladies that drove down from Dallas specifically just to eat there and they got the crab platter, which I now NEED to try! (that's what we're ordering today!) See the pic of their half eaten CRAB FEAST! I'm still glad we got the catfish and shrimp, because we know they are delicious! But crab is my favorite food, so I know we'll love it. I'll let you know, and take a pic before it's half eaten! You really SHOULD TRY this place. It may not look like much from the outside, but I guarantee you the food is most excellent! First time going Jun 1 2023. We were in a rush so I got it to go. I'm not sure what I ordered. But I got the large shrimp in a spicy sauce. I can eat real spicy.. these were good but it quickly got too spicy. Nose running, eyes crying, 🤣 stomach and lips burning 🔥. I was able to eat the sausage and about 5 shrimps and 3 potatoes before I quit lol I let my husband. He was down to the last 3 potatoes and quit. But he ate the 2 corns and the rest of the shrimp 🤣🤣🤣 I think I might of gotten their spiciest sauce. I'm glad I got my kids a small butter shrimp. I got a few from them it had good flavor. Nothing special about the fish though. The fries were good too. I want to be back and try something less spicy next time lol. They are friendly and are constantly cleaning their tables. 👍 They were also nice to my 5 and 6 year old. Gave them...

I cannot rave enough about Uncle Jacks!!!! I’m so glad I finally tried this place. They made my wife and I feel like family.

On to the food lol. The flavor and portions you get for the money is one of the reasons why we just became lifetime customers.

I’ve had wings all over the US and these are officially in the number 1 spot. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We got the garlic Parmesan. The fish and shrimp were also amazing as well.

Can’t forget the strawberry moonshine cake😍 (which they gave us for free).

Right before we left, they handed us another to-go box full of shrimp, sausage, potatoes, corn, and broccoli (also on the house).

This is officially one of my new favorite spots in Tyler.

We even came back a second time that day with out twin boys and they said it was some of the best food...
