Big Al's Pizza — Restaurant in Tyngsborough

I made an order for delivery for 2 pizzas and mozzarella sticks. The delivery driver only showed up with 2 pizzas. He said he was never given anything else for the order. I called the restaurant and the woman I spoke with said it wasn’t at the restaurant so the delivery driver must have picked it up. I asked for a refund and I was told there was nothing they could do, I had to take it up with Toast, the ordering app. I reached out to Toast and they said restaurants are directly responsible for resolving issues with orders. That is really poor customer service from Big Al’s. They should have provided the refund to me and taken it up with Toast themselves. Now I have to waste more time tomorrow fighting this thing. I shouldn’t have to pay for something I never received.

UPDATE: Within minutes of posting this review, the owner gave me a call to resolve the issue. He even refunded me the whole order and not just for the missing food. In addition, he didn’t ask me to remove or update the review but of course I feel it deserves to be updated. What he did was EXCELLENT customer service. Best pizza in Tyngsborough Massachusetts Sauce homemade i had Big Mac pizza holy smokes i couldn’t stop eating my pizza. I also had the steak cheese. It’s really good because Big Al owner chops meat up fine. As for Customer service,, the girls are always friendly and knowledgeable. The back room where you can sit down and they will bring you. So happy a great pizza place came to Tyngsboro! Pizza was ridiculously good! Thin but not too crispy and the cheese sauce combo was perfect! Also the what I believe are homemade mozzarella sticks are beyond good I’m a big mozzarella guy and these remind me of the north end fresh mootz moons they served at almost every place down there!
