The fact that they had use their own cows to make their own ice cream. Everything is fresh and delicious every time you go everyone is friendly they are observing all of the special precautions like wearing gloves and masks and keeping people 6 feet away from each other. Unfortunately there picnic tables and seating arrangements are not available as of yet but you're welcome to sit in your car to eat your ice cream. We sat on the back of my truck on the tailgate to eat. My husband had a medium Frozen pudding ice cream that he says is just as good as Brigham's which is the one he was raised on. I had to triple berry shortcake parfait it was amazing it had blueberries strawberries raspberries and blackberries in it as well as a fresh warmed home-baked shortcake biscuit and vanilla ice cream. The girl asked if I wanted to have a different kind if I said I would go with vanilla this time because that's the way it was made and next time I might try something different. But it was definitely worth having again. It's definitely worth the trip just off the highway it's only about two miles off of Route 3 North just off of 113. It is nice to shop, Buy, and eat local and support...
Read moreA vindictive employee created an ice cream cone for me in the worst possible way because I told her right before she was going to start making it that I preferred a sugar cone instead of a cup. She threw her cup out and got the sugar cone. Normally, when they scoop the ice cream onto the cone they place each scoop on top of one another. When she came back with my made cone, I realized she had put the scoops to the side of one another forcing them to sag on the cone and covering more than half the cone. I could only grab the cone from the very tip. I realized after a minute that it was starting to drip on me and I had to resort to getting a cup. It was obvious this is a tactic that they use when they feel irritated and a way to get back at the customer. This passive aggressive behavior ruined the whole experience. I wish I would have thought of taking a photo on how the employee made my...
Read moreI live within 10 to 15 minutes of 3 ice cream shops and this one is my favourite. Though people love kimball farms and johnsons... i can truly say i enjoy everything about sullivan. The staff are kind and flexible. When i was honest that o only wanted a kids scoop but desired a mix of flavours, this was the only place where they willingly adjusted for me. Every other place said, sorry you would need to buy a larger size ice cream. They ice cream itself is delicious and the outdoor ambiance is very family oriented. Tons of table-benches (some smaller ones which i perfect for kids)...a gazebo...lawn games. Its truly inviting. The one thing is you will only get vanilla or chocolate vegan options. Which works for most. But if you are looking for more vegan options, call kimballs ahead of time to see (they tend to "run out"). Johnsons always seems to only...
