This review is more for the owner's response to another review than the experience itself. I kept in middle of road because we've had more good experiences than bad. Had lunch with my family today. There was 8 of us. There have been times our group has 15+. Some combination of our group dines in at least once a month. My husband and aunt each ordered subs. Which have always come with chips and i believe a pickle. The menu still states that they come with chips. They did not come with them (or pickle), and when they asked. Were told chips are no longer included and now cost 99 cents.
Ok menus change, but they hadn't made note of that change in any manner. This decision wasn't made between the order being taken and getting back to the kitchen. It's a known change as they said new menus are coming. The server could have said chips are no longer included when they ordered. They could have gone through on the menus and crossed out chips. When asked where the chips were, they could have given some chips. I mean what is worse? The risk of upsetting a customer, or parting with, at the most, 50 cents worth of products?
Honestly I wasn't too upset about it. It's just chips. It's irritating when things aren't as advertised and they won't honor it, but again just chips. My issue is the owners response to my husband's review. It may have been something small, but it was still a legit complaint. Responding with basically "menus change" was not Profesional and honestly was worse than no response. As I noted above there are steps you can take when the menu changes. Read morePlaced an order for delivery. Was supposed to take 35-45 minutes. An hour passed and I called to see where it was and to make sure the order actually had gone through since it was placed online. 2 hours after ordering our food was delivered COLD. Husband called to speak with manager, they said they could remake the order or give 15% off next order. While he was getting a paper to write down the address (mind you I was still on phone able to hear them) over heard him say “just hang up on them” and laughter. I confronted him about it and he confirmed that’s what he said, he was extremely rude, told me he could decline service to anyone, and hung up. All I wanted was my order to be handled correctly since we waited that long for cold pizza. We usually love this place but more than likely won’t ever order from here again due to how terrible our experience was tonight....
