James Gang Tavern — Restaurant in Union Gap

Went in yesterday to relax and have a beer and shot. Great Service and Atmosphere. Great Music Choice. Taking 2 Stars away for the poor customer service from the young man cooking. Ordered 20.00 worth of drinks no problem, also 30.00 worth of food to go. He brings 3 Styrofoam Containers trying to balance them and sets them in front of me.I ask the bartender for a bag because I sure in the hell didn't want to try and balance them all the wayout to the truck while trying to open the door. But that's what I had to do. The cheapskate told the bartender it costs to much or some plastic bag law b s. I would have happily paid for a bag l to make it a lot easier. Went here for the first time and it will be my last time. The service was okay when I first got there. I sat at the bar and had a bloody mary and some chicken strips. The bloody Mary was okay and the food was typical bar food, not anything to write home about. I ordered a second drink and it was plopped in front of me with 90 percent tomato juice and no garnish. The bartender was too busy sitting at the table with friends to care about customers or service. I even went out to smoke and came back in to practice some pool and was never checked on or asked if I wanted anything. Great dive bar!! The Wednesday burger special is soooo delicious!! Maybe it's their sauce!?!? I have no idea but it's tasty and the perfect size for the price. But what's even better is their tacos on Tuesday!! I chose the corn tortillas which they put in an air fryer, I believe. Those shells are AMAZING!!! Terra and her staff work their butts off too!
