Mercurys Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Union Hill-Novelty Hill

This is my usual location although now and then I stop at the location off of Union Hill under the Pure Apartments. This evening I stopped there first as it was on my way, and was met with rude employees that closed the store more than an hour early for no apparent reason (they usually close at 8pm, I was there at 6:40pm). So I went oit of my way to this location off of Redmond-Fall City Road by Albertsons, and was met with exemplary service and didn't even have to wait in line! (I did forget about the Redmond-Way location but I prefer this location better anyways.) The young man was very helpful despite the fact that he was about to close per usual hours (7pm here). He even apologized for the way that I was treated at my first stop. I'll continue to go here and will do my best not to visit the Union Hill location again. I recently visited Mercury Coffee at 23532 Redmond-Fall City Rd NE, and I had a great experience worth sharing. The drive-thru was quick and efficient, and the staff were genuinely friendly — they greeted me with a smile and made sure my order was just right.

I ordered cappuccino and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The coffee had that rich, bold flavor that Mercury is known for, and the temperature was spot on — no burnt taste or watered-down flavor.

What stood out the most was the customer service. Even though it was busy, the team kept things moving smoothly without making anyone feel rushed. It’s clear they care about quality and consistency.

The baristas there handled the long line like pros. My favorite will always be the Blonde Hawaiian (half sweet and iced) but I also ordered the Bees Knees and, because I was feeling frisky, the Caramel Silk. Yes- I ordered three coffee drinks. And I was alone in the car so, yeah. Hands down the best IMO is the Blonde Hawaiian. The Bees Knees is essentially a honey latte, so honey lovers will love this one. The caramel silk was good but really sweet, even though I ordered everything half sweet, so go easy on that one if you don’t have a sweet tooth.
