First time eating breakfast here since it changed to the new name, owner etc. McFadden’s breakfast was great, soI hate to leave such a bad review. But I can’t get over how terrible my food was.
It was a biscuit with egg, bacon, hash browns covered in sausage gravy. They need to either overhaul their sausage gravy or stop selling it. I don’t know if it’s canned or made, but either way it was not good. This is an understatement.
When the plate came to the table it smelled like cigarettes. I thought maybe it was in my head until I took my one (and only) bite. It tasted like how cigarettes smell. Inedible! I left an entire plate of food uneaten.
Tip for the staff: when a fat girl leaves an entire plate of food uneaten you know the food’s bad. As my husband paid the ticket, we both heard a guy sitting near us tell another customer, “I wouldn’t get the gravy.” I...

The waitress asked how everything was and we told her and she said yeah they are using frozen crust not fresh made daily like before. I went to get a salad and the whole menu has changed. I was expecting new things added not a whole new menu. We did go for breakfast and it was good. I heard while I was there that they want to franchise and open up to 10 more of these. As of now I doubt they will survive and make it. Poor business plan to buy a profitable business and to change everything and expect it to last in a small toe . I hope it does survive but I have no plans of going back for anything but breakfast. Used to...
Read moreI've been missing a certain style of pizza since moving to Knox County from the Youngstown area. So I'm very happy we gave Jersey Girls a try. The cheese/sauce/toppings balance is spot on, and the crust is perfectly foldable while staying nice and crispy at the end. I recommend the Amy's Favorite, because the meatballs are something else! This is a legit pizza parlor that's loaded with charm, hospitality, and all the good aromas. Had a great time chatting up Amy and Will while we were there, and I'm already looking forward to the next visit. Oh, and try the garlic knots! Y'know, if you like warm soft garlic bread that's toasty on the outside and covered...
