Common House of Pizza — Restaurant in Union

Rarely, and I mean rarely, do I ever find a place where everyone enjoys any place we choose to eat. We ordered 3 pizzas and a cold sandwich. The young lady who took our order was friendly and positive. The area is a little dark, bit that's more of an observation than a complaint. It made for a relaxed atmosphere, which is welcoming. I fed a total of 12 people and when I grabbed the pizzas, I was concerned for they were so light. So light that i was like I had one pizza from any other local area store that makes pizza and two empty boxes. However, I noticed a display of baklava and hoped that it meant greek pizza. I, thankfully, was right. The crust was light, flavorful and crispy, not dry and crumbling, the sauce had a nice light spice to it and all the meat and cheese was not overbearingly high fat (when your pizza swims in oil on the box) and very flavorful. To summarize, my tribe of all 12 loved their food. A rare feat and they can expect my business more often when I order out. I wish them decades of success, they deserve it! Food was excellent 👌. Service was great. We ate in the restaurant and found it to be clean and enjoyed overlooking the common through the windows. We had a pepperoni, meatball, green pepper pizza. The crust was on the thinner side, sauce and cheese were great, and toppings were plentiful especially the pepperoni. We also got a Caesar salad which had some grape tomatoes, cucumber, and shredded mozzarella in addition to the romaine and croutons. I hate to write negative reviews of local places, but my family and I have eaten here several times because of its close proximity to my wife's work. Unfortunately, each time we have been disappointed with over-cooked, stale, old, or just plain inedible food. We're not terribly picky people, but even my 9 year old-daughter has asked that we not order from here anymore. It seems like really substandard food and it's not prepared well; we find ourselves disappointed and upset we spent the money. Yesterday's order was the last time we'll go here.
