Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Upland

We've ordered carry out twice from here and honestly it will probably be the only place we order pizza from now on. Mountain Mike's has ruined us for all others. The slices might be smaller but a medium pizza from here fills us up way more than a large from Domino's or Papa John's. There are just so much more toppings placed on top and the crust is so much better - not really a thin crust but thinner than Papa's normal crust.

We're a family of six would normally order two larges from normal pizza places. On our first visit here we got two mediums because yes, they are pricey BUT that's okay. The two mediums were more than enough and we actually like the way they slices the pizzas so they're thinner slices. Allows you to try more pizzas if you get some of the fancy ones. Here you are definitely paying for quality and not just advertising, or because it's "new and hip".

When we order we usually get their BBQ Hawaiian chicken pizza and either a pepperoni and black olives or a sausage a d mushroom pizza. Oh, and let me tell you these make great leftover pizzas. You know how sometimes you'll reheat a pizza and it has tons of grease? Not these! No need to get the napkins out to absorb the extra grease.

I don't think anyone will regret getting pizza from here. Even if it's only for a "special occasions" kind of ordering then do it. Kids might not care, but the adults will certainly appreciate the better quality of the...

To the owner of this Mike, the staff attitude are ATROCIOUS. They need a revamp on the attitude. The ONLY staff member here who actually gave good service as I have been here several times is the hispanic woman, the rest are terrible. I will be calling corporate about the circumstances. The male staff provided the name "Soni/Sony” (Indian girl) and she is absolutely terrible, very mean, shames customers, speak down on door dashers and you can really tell she does NOT care at all. Something is off about her. She acts like she is overworked when she barely does anything and overall she is unpleasant to deal with.

If she is so unhappy about customers and door dashers, why does she not get allocated another position at work where she does not have to deal with customers? Like give her the dough making area or the baking area or something. Stop taking out her anger on delivery drivers, they are helping your company do the work or you’d have to deliver it on your own…. Do better, re-train her. Just terrible service, makes mountain Mike look so bad.

I got a pizza on Saturday night 2/22, paid for 5 toppings, only got 3, I also asked for them to cook the pizza longer because last time it was undercooked and had raw dough. It was inedible. Same this time. By time I got home to see that my order was not right or even cooked right, they closed. So I called the next evening and figured they could fix this for me. I'm sure I'll get an apology, right? I kept the pizza whole and ready to exchange but the individual who answered said " honestly, you shoulda came back last night. I can't help you" I let them know that they had closed by time I got a chance to see the problem. I said I have the whole pizza, I just want to return it for what I had ordered. He talks to a manager for a min. Then says his manager is on break and will call me in 10 min. And says " alright see ya later" in an unprofessional way. The manager never called back. $26 for a medium pizza missing toppings I paid extra for and the dough was raw. Please do not go here. Completely trashy and tacky. I didn't know people like this run a business. Sad to see. Will obviously never return. Hope this space turns into something good after...
