Red Barn Deli — Restaurant in Upper Deerfield Township

It is with some uncertainty that I review this place. My fourth son has raved about their cheesesteaks for years, but because it's not in a convenient location we had never tried them. So we made a special trip to do so--and were disappointed. On the other hand, we could see why some would like them. They tasted like Cheez-Whiz was used, which I am told is popular in Philadelphia. Apart from that, the shelves were rather bare, but the clerk was quite nice. I might go back to try something...

Good subs...new mgmt so its more welcoming and the owner is very kind and pays attention to your order. Subs around 8 but worth it. Taste gd like a Red Barn sub is expected to taste ( this speaks to ppl who have been coming here from way back and know the subs were full of meat...

The reviews are right, the cheesesteak was delicious and the man working there was very nice and attentive. Price was $12 for a foot long cheesesteak, and was really packed with meat. The interior is barebones, but you don't dine in anyway so who cares. Otherwise very clean...
