My husband and I came here for the first time for dinner a few weeks ago because we love Mediterranean food and wanted to try a new place and this one gets good reviews. We started with the Greek sampler so that we could try some of a bunch of different dips and I’m so glad we did. This was DELICIOUS, definitely the best thing we had. The pita was warm and just perfect, it may have been the best pita I’ve eaten. My favorite spread was the tzatziki, it was so good I didn’t want to stop eating it. My husband’s favorite was the feta which I thought was pretty good as well, but we both really loved the hummus. Our least favorite was the eggplant spread (and we both really like eggplant, we grow it in our garden). I thought it was ok but my husband didn’t care for it at all.

For our main course I ordered the seafood souvlaki and my husband ordered a gyro sandwich. His gyro was delicious, but unfortunately my souvlaki was disappointing. The scallops were a little overcooked and rubbery and both the shrimp and scallops were too salty, almost to the point of being inedible. The rice was good, but the broccoli was watery and tasted like nothing. I’d go back for the dip and a gyro, but skip...

Was anticipating great food in a friendly atmosphere, based on all the positive reviews. Instead, I received a very dry chicken souvalki and the only seasoning I could detect was garlic, no oregano, no lemon, no salt. My dad had the branzino, deboned, which was also overcooked and dry. But we could have dealt with the disappointing food, had we received good service. Instead our server all but ignored us. When the coffee arrived, I requested an additional creamer, but it never arrived. We ate and when we were done we sat back and watched as the server walked by the table too many times to count. We finally placed our dishes on the end of the table, in case the server didn't realize we were done with our half eaten meals... but nope, we watched as our server cruised by a minimum of 4 more times. It wasn't like the place was hopping. We finally flagged down our server for our bill. He did return to the table quickly for payment. Most astonishing was that our server was training a new server. Hopefully the new server will be better suited to providing service for the patrons, but we won't be returning...

Terribly cooked meat and seafood. Either way overcooked and dry or rubbery or undercooked. Lacking in flavor. Gyro was bland and boring. I have had better from mall food court Greek restaurants. Their broccoli and french fries were soft and soggy, lacking any salt or spices.

The best part about their meals was the fresh tomatoes, lettuce, rice, pita bread, rolls and olive oil dipping sauce, the cheapest things. Even their iced tea tasted very watery. The sugar packets on the table were crunchy hard sugar.

The place itself is beautiful inside and has gorgeous floors, mural paintings and other paintings and the waitress was so sweet. If they had spent as much money on hiring a good cook instead of just the interior design, they would have something to brag about.

Please do not waste your money here. 2 dinners and drinks $36 down the drain... A major let down of what I thought would make a lovely date with my boyfriend. I really hope he doesn't get food poisoning from the undercooked scallops and unveined shrimp....

I would have rated this higher if not for the poor service. Service was good, until our waitress got distracted by another table and we were totally forgotten about. No water refills, no taking away unused plates; we even had to flag down the hostess in order to get our check and boxes for leftovers. All this aside, the food was mediocre for the price. My pork souvlaki was not very flavorful, and my wife's gyro platter was also lackluster (she said the lamb was mushy). The rice served with our dishes was flavorless and too soft. The Greek sampler was the best part of the meal, although it was significantly overpriced (for a couple pieces of pita and four different dips) at almost $15. I think next time I want good Greek, I'll just make the trek to Opa Vera's (if they're still open).

Welcome to the neighborhood! Nice to have a Greek restaurant so close to home. We walked in and immediately felt welcomed. The staff is warm and friendly and service were great. We started with the hummus, and that alone was good. 😊 Unfortunately, we could not stay to dine in fully. I do think the I would have preferred my food dining in the restaurant. *I definitely will need to revisit and ensure that time allows me to dine in. New post soon to come!
