Been going to Asim and Off the Grill since they opened back around 2019 and I have nothing but good things to say about my experiences there.
Working at a local farm we’d often drop produce off or stop by for lunch. No matter the time of day or amount of customers in the door, Asim and his employees have always given top quality service and amazing food. I’ve brought dozens to his place for a quick bite and not a single person has left disappointed. If the delicious food has not convinced you, then let me tell you this: Asim goes above and beyond in any way that he can to make you as a customer leave happy.
It’s one of the few, if not, only places that I make it necessary to stop in on whenever I’m home. Off The Grill is not just another gas station convenience store, it’s an exceptionally well run small business that has quickly become a staple of Allentown. I will always swear by his chicken burritos, best in the area and it’s...
Read moreUp until this morning, I was an avid fan of this establishment. However, I will not be spending another dime of my money in there again. They charged me $17 for 2 plain egg & cheese sandwiches, coffee and a juice. I looked at the menu and questioned one of the owners as to why my bill was so high and he stated that they have new prices online. I went to my vehicle, got my phone, pulled up the menu and showed him the online price. $2.99. I asked him how much extra egg was and he stated that he doesn't need to rob me bc his business is great. I never accused him of doing bad business. I simply stated that my bill with tax included, was higher than his advertised prices on his menu. Instead of at least taking a look at the issue, he just shrugged it off and went to the next customer. That's extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. They either need to update their menu or let the customers know of price changes BEFORE they...
Read moreLast week, I purchased gas for my new car outside Off the Grill and was about to drive off when I realized my cell had died. This was a grave discovery as I was traveling back to my home state and I desperately needed my GPS to get back. So I took a chance and walked into Off the Grill for help. The kind man behind the counter (who turned out to be the owner, Asim) allowed me to use his cable to recharge my phone inside the restaurant. What's more, he asked if I wanted him to show me where the cigarette-lighter port was in my new car so I could use that port to charge my cell in the future - and he gave me a port to keep! He did all this like it was no sweat to him and he refused to take money from me. All he would allow me to do was to purchase a sandwich from him, and he used the tip money I tried to give him for his team. What an amazing guy - and the sandwich was good, too! I highly recommend Off the Grill....
