An absolute hidden gem - top notch quality and value!
The show stopper was the BLT. TONS of super crunchy bacon strips, fresh tomatoes and lots of mayo. Exactly how I make it at home. 10/10
Cooper cheese bites - house made and super gooey, I'll dream about them. Pro-top: get the horseradish with it.
Kids grilled cheese - it's gigantic, on Texas toast and everything a cheese lover could dream of.
LV style cheesesteak - I knew it was a gamble getting this bc of my severe adoration of steak sandwiches. This was a hard miss; too much red sauce which was very sweet. Couldn't taste the meat. Banana peppers and onions were chopped in (awesome) and the roll was great. I'd definitely try a regular cheesesteak there though.
Italian hoagie - not a complaint, just a preference of my party. It looks like they slice their own ham, which is great but it was a thick slab and overpowered the rest of the meat. Again, roll was good. Would ask for more seasoning and oil/vinegar next time.
Macaroni salad comes standard as a side and it tastes just like my mom's as a kid, love it! The fries are worth the upcharge too. There's a cooler with canned & bottled soda including Jarritos (pineapple, mango, lime and 1 other).
If you have room (which you won't but get it to go) every one of their desserts looks HEAVENLY. We got the pineapple upside down cheesecake and a gigantic peanut butter cup cookie to go, can't comment on those yet but I know it'll be 10/10 😊
Staff/owners couldn't have been nicer, it seriously felt like I was at my family's cafe or something. We are very fortunate to have this restaurant in...
Read moreI wish I could 1/2 stars but after taking my wife something at her job nearby I decided to try this place.
I wanted try a side so I went with the Irish Nachos ( homemade chips were defintely incredible 😊👍, Cheese (Wiz is NOT the same as cheese), fresh green onion, Jarred jalapenos & bacon ? Or Mystery meat or Canned bacon ?? Idk I wanted to like this but it was Meh, good enough to try but I wouldn't get it again.
The young man working the register asked if I wanted the pasta salad with sandwich I took him up on it.
The pasta salad sucked. The pasta was overcooked and mushy and had a buttery taste despite the oil, feta cheese ? tomato, and pepper. But it came free with the meal so can't really complain I guess.
The redeemer is definitely the sandwich. Stuffed to the grills it was 😁 I got a small cold roast beef with provolone & horse radiah mayo (Pittsburgh style with fries, tomato and slaw) Damn good sandwich. My only complaint was the roll was covered in oil on the outside, when I came home I had to pat it down. For a cold sandwich, that to me is a bit weird.
The individually wrapped garlic pickle spear was amazing too.
Service for a nearly empty lunch time was a little on the slow side but the young man at the register did apologize for the wait.
Definitely worth a try for the sandwich. If I am ever in the area again, I might give them...
Read moreVegetarian review: there is only one vegetarian sandwich options: The Caprese and it's available both hot and cold.
I highly suggest getting it with the pesto-mayo (they do not have plain pesto) instead of just with the vinaigrette dressing. Also they will give you the option to get both red pepper and tomatoes on it instead of just one. This combination is also better IMO.
While the small sandwich may look tiny, with the chips it was reasonably filling for $10.
After having eaten fresh potato chips at the Route 11 factory in Virginia - I was excited to experience it again after 15 years. Unfortunately when served, I was disappointed as the chips are not freshly fried and sit around for days before getting served. That being said, they are miles better than packaged chips.
I just wish they had the option to toss them in some kind of seasoning to make them better because I found them bland on their out. They did has Old Bay seasoning and I asked them to add it for me.
While the inside of my sandwich was great, I found my ciabatta bread to be a bit too dry and thick. Next time, I will probably pick a...
