First timer. Arrived during "as busy as it gets." Checked in for a party of one and was told they'd get me seated as soon as they could. The dining room is full of 6-tops and 4-top booths at the windows. I looked around to see if there were any other singles waiting, but didn't see any. Drink order was taken and delivered quickly. This gave me time to look at the menu. I wanted to try many things and couldn't decide. I turned to the back page and saw it: Mac and cheese with meatloaf and onion rings. When the waitress took my order, her eyes lit up, "Good choice. That's my favorite!" A few minutes later it arrived. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy. The meatloaf had a great texture and flavor. The onion rings added additional flavor and some crunch. The serving size was nice and left room for dessert. However, because I had a 20-mile bike ride home, I passed on the sweet finish. I'll be back!

This place is perfect. They have an excellent selection of food which is consistently tasty at very reasonable prices. We hold semi-monthly meetings here and month after month the waitstaff is helpful and friendly with always excellent service. Food comes out quick, the pre-meal rolls are so tasty, and the after-dinner treats are scrumptious, especially the cookies. Although we are generally a group of professionals, we often see families gathered here, and I've brought my daughter with me before and can't recommend it enough for everyone from the very young to the older crowd. The upgrades and redecorating are super classy with a farm flair (including a tractor on the front porch!), and the whole place is always clean, and cleared quickly. Overall: highly recommended!

We went there on a Sunday, and we didn't realize that they were only open until 2. Our table was dirty, so we had to wait for our waitress to clean it up. A couple came in a few minutes after us and were sat in the booth next to us, and they were helped first because (understandably) everyone was just trying to get things together so they could go home. That being said, we ended up ordering our meals, but they ran out of baked potatoes, so one of us got one, but the other two had to wait. So we got our meal in stages. The food was really good, though, and I will go back. Just not so close to closing. We just have never went to a place that closes so early.

Normally I would give this place a 5 star rating however the service we received was horrible. We get there and there is a wait. No big deal. We wait outside with a pager. The only thing about that I would recommend is more seating outside especially for the more elderly guests. The quickly got through the wait list. When it was our turn the hostess just pointed and told us we could sit in a specific booth. Normally they walk you to the booth. We get to our table and the waitress comes and gives our menus and takes our drink order. We look at the menu. Drinks come she asks us if we were ready. I advised I need a few more mins. She took it literally. Not even 2 mins and she was back. I advised still debating. She walked away I continued to look at my menu. And literally a min later she is back. I felt very rushed to order. So I finally just ordered uncle Dave breakfast. Food was amazing as always. My husband got the breakfast skillet. Only recommendation I would have is to add a meat into it like a sausage or a bacon. The sausage gravy just isn't enough. While eating our drinks were never refilled or topped off. We weren't quite done eating and she puts the ticket down and says whenever your ready. There was no can I get you anything else or would you like dessert. We waited for a few to see if she would come back and she never did so we left. I have never had poor customer service there. Today was very offputting. Due to their hours it is hard for us to get there but I will definitely be rethinking our descion...

Good down home atmosphere with friendly wait staff, now for the story of our recent breakfast.

My father is 91 he will eat anything and never complain about his food.. He orders a vegetable omelet, home fries and sausage on the side. After 45 minutes our food finally arrives at our table. His omelet was cold the vegetables were not cooked the cheese was not melted on the inside of the omelet. The home fries where cold. We did not ask to rewarm anything nor did we say anything to the waitress. We have stopped here many times over the past years. We will not be stopping again. If the owner is putting out this quality of food he needs to write to Robert Irvine and ask for help on restaurant impossible. If you are in the wait staff, I would be quickly looking for another position with a restaurant that’s putting out high-quality hot food.

Now getting back to my father, he is 91 as I already stated he will eat anything and not complain. He has done nothing but complain about the food at Farmer’s daughter his memories bad, but not bad enough to get the poor quality food out of his head off.

As for me, I had eggs over easy and sausage everything was fine but if you screw that up you should not be in the...

This was our first visit here. We were surprised how crowded it was when we entered. There was only one table available. Our server was friendly even though the restaurant was very busy. I ordered the ham loaf because I am the only one in my family who likes it so I was looking forward to it. However, I was greatly disappointed. It was covered in ketchup, not a sauce, and it was barely warm. I didn't send it back because I never do that, and I didn't take it home to reheat either. The ham loaf was served as a chunk instead of slices, which would have been much more appealing to the eye. Also, there was very little seasoning. Bland food is pitiful. The green beans and warm apple slices, however, were delicious. Also, I took one bite of the roll, and if I wasn't trying to cut down on carbs, I would have eaten all of it because it was delicious. I am still surprised by the large number of people there. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. However, I tell don't foresee a future return visit to The Farmer's Daughter...
