Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Urbandale

I recently stopped by Jimmy John's and I have to say, my experience left me feeling pretty disappointed. I ordered their bread sandwich, expecting a hearty meal for the ten dollars I paid, but what I got was underwhelming to say the least.

First off, let’s talk about the portion sizes. I ordered it with an extra slice of cheese, but when I opened up the sandwich, I could barely spot it amidst the overwhelming amount of lettuce. I understand that freshness is key, but when the majority of the filling is lettuce, it makes the sandwich feel more like a salad with bread than a proper meal.

The turkey slices were sparse, to say the least. I’d expected a more satisfying amount of meat for the price, but it felt like I was playing hide and seek with the turkey. It really didn’t do much to elevate the sandwich or justify the cost.

Overall, I walked away feeling less than satisfied and quite frankly, a bit ripped off. For ten dollars, I expect a sandwich that at least resembles a balance of ingredients. Sadly, this sandwich missed the mark. I might consider giving this place another chance, but next time, I’ll definitely be more cautious about...

Have had multiple issues with quality control from this location. Usually ask for east hot peppers, which should be 3-4 and I will end up with 6-8 or more on my sandwich. Tonight I ordered a slim 5 and received a slim 1 with the rest of my order correct. Called and asked for a replacement sandwich, employee said it could be a while since they had other deliveries, which was understandable. 40 minutes later, an unmarked car showed up, tossed the sandwich in the door, and someone ran back outside and sped off.
