Bland mushy gross disgusting food I like Hindi food I strongly dislike this restaurant. They had 10 entrees and two of those are rice they're salad bar was lacking severely and several of the salad bar items were stale. They had propaganda about not eating meat and against the dominant religion in Utah. The atmosphere is combined with the gift shop and there are several racks of clothes nearby so you feel like you're eating inside of a gift shop the music was more like a news station that would continuously give announcements and update. The food was awful most of the patrons look like they lived at this temple. The food was always what seems like the cheapest option and like flavor and was greatly overcooked he is not authentic foods like instead of using naan bread they use Lynn Wilson style tortillas and would take other shortcuts in the cooking all of the star ratings are for the Krishna Temple and not for the restaurant for the vast majority of the reviews. Service was poor as we had to find someone to admit us and they use paper where to serve all the dishes where we had to clear our own table. The only good thing was that they didn't charge a sales tax...
Read moreIt's downstairs at the temple The atmosphere is more cozy and a shared temple space, not like just going to eat at a regular restaurant. Welcoming staff at the front desk. The food is vegetarian, but my meat eating husband and boys didn't notice meat was even missing. The food was well prepared, delicious, and we left feeling energized amd nourished rather than heavy like eating out tends to leave us. Also, I absolutely love Khir, and the khir here (rice puding) was a huge win!! Very delicious!!! After eating, I would recommend a leisurely stroll around to see the llamas and peacocks and there is even a little playground to let the kids burn off some excess energy. I will definitely seek this restaurant out again...
Read moreAfter years of wanting to come sample the vegetarian buffet I finally went. I got take out and so glad I stopped by. The food was delicious. There was an instant party in my mouth. I tried all their dishes and none disappointed. If you like Indian food and lots of flavor this is for you. I will definitely be stopping by anytime I’m in the area. My favorite was this green sauce I thought was salsa but dang! So much flavor. It was spicy and sour and minty. Soooo good. I need a name and a recipe so I can drink it and slather it on everything I eat. Their dessert was excellent as well. The price is insanely cheap so just go try it.
I was eating on the go, so sorry for the...
