My recent experience with ordering fried chicken was a letdown. I wasn't aware that there are two types of fried chicken - salt and pepper fried chicken and a fried chicken dinner. I politely mentioned to the owner that the fried chicken appeared to have been made during the day and then refried. As shown in the pictures below, anyone can identify the appearance of refried chicken. However, the owner seemed to take offense, thinking I was questioning their culinary expertise. I reassured them that was not my intention and reexplained my concerns. Unfortunately, the owner continued to interrupt me and insisted that the fried chicken dinner was supposed to look that way. What I found particularly frustrating was her tendency to talk over me and mention how hard she works. She refused to give me another plate after I spent $43 on burnt fried chicken. I ended up giving it away. Working hard is not an excuse for disrespecting customers. As a customer, I believe it is essential to be heard and have my concerns addressed. The food was great! I was here for 2 years and did not go this restaurant based on someone's opinion. Finally tried it and that General Tso chicken was delicious. Enjoyed the egg drop soup too. Fast forward 2021...I have had it with this place. Asian workers are very rude and they always get rice order wrong. Stopped ordering for 7 months and decided to give it one more go. Wish I hadn't. Wrong order again. I specifically said side order of veggie fried Richard was asked if I wanted small or large. When I called to tell her I need veggie fried rice ,she rudely told me I got what I ordered. Refused to fix the mistake. And the chicken tasted strange too. Will never go to this hole in wall...

Fresh as you can get in Barrow, home-made tasting food. Probably the best ans safest simple lunch buffet and dinner in town. General Tsao's Chicken was excellent, its my favorite chinese fast food meal and was perfect.
