If you’re going up into the mountains near Utuado, this coffee shop / panadería has EXCELLENT sandwiches and café in generous proportions. Nice atmosphere and chill place to stop for lunch. Been coming to the island for 13 years, and this is one of the best tripletas I ever ate. Que rico! (NOTE: I split that sandwich - not kidding that the servings are generous! El Meson - take notes!!)

We stopped in after visiting the ceremonial park. We had ham and cheese, chicken, and cuban sandwiches, coffee, and cafe and vanilla flan. Exceptional was all! Super service, so gracious and professional. The only small negative were the two young rascals playing games on their tablet without earphones. Big brother would tell them to stop, but they started again after he walked away :). Again, highly recommended, we would stop and enjoy their coffee, pastries, and...

This small restaurant was a good choice for lunch. The sandwiches we ordered were huge. The cookies were a special treat…yummy! If you’re a coffee lover, then I recommend you try the coffee.
