Alley Beans Coffee & Roastery — Restaurant in Valley City

A great little place in a little town, I would say their flavor profile is a little more on the natural side of the drinks. The London Fog 2/5 was hardly sweet at at all, very punchy earl grey flavor, good tea, but not what I expected from a London Fog. A Vanilla Latte 4.5/5 is a pretty standard test bed at shops now, and at Alley Beans it is again punchy from their espresso. Unlike the tea though, this was nice, still sweet, airy and creamy, but all of this didn't cover up the coffee like most shops are going to now. Food 4.5/5 is fantastic. All very fresh and most combine multiple flavors (strawberry rhubarb, blueberry lemon, etc.), for a taste and texture profile that is truly delightful.

Hardly anyone truly deserves 5 stars. The tea was disappointing, the coffee was great and refreshing, the treats were delightful, atmosphere and staff were lovely. This is an above average shop, not a perfect one, but...

I havent even finished my frappé and i just had to leave a review. When i was going into my apartment i took a sip of the frappe and i just loudly said "oh that's some good stuff right there!" I honestly wasn't expecting something amazing as the places ive gotten frappes at, all had a intense flavor of coffee and no flavor with a terrible after taste. DQ was the only place i could find a /good/ frappe, but they stopped serving the ultimate frappes... i knew i didnt like dutton's frappes, so i went to Alley Beans and im happy i did. Its so good! Definitely planning to be a regular for that good cookies and cream frappe

The service was incredibly fast as well and helpful when i couldnt describe what flavor i was looking for. The only thing that bothered me was the whip cream, but thats mostly my fault since i forgot its always put on frappes and shakes.

Chose this place based on online unfo and couldn't have found a sweeter business. Loved it so much we even bought a coffee cup to remember them by. The staff was very helpful and kind and the service was quick. We ordered lattes and they were perfect. The only thing that could possibly have made them better were the spectacular, home-baked, fresh pastries which we, of course, indulged in. I wish we could just pick this place up and take it back to Central Oregon with us! We loved it and hope to pass through again soon so we can stop here once more. Highly recommend this sweet shop - even the name...
