Health risk and horrible customer service! I went to taco bell on Dougherty Ferry in Valley Park, MO on November 14th, 2024 at around 1:00pm. I went inside to order my food. While waiting for my food I heard the female employee tell the guy at the window she accidentally handed him Andrea's order (my order) and it was given to the person in the drive thru. A couple minutes later, the person that was given my food by mistake came in the restaraunt and traded the female employee my food for theirs. That employee then attempted to give me that same food that the person from the drive-thru had dug through to verify it was not the right order. I requested that the food be remade as it had potentially (and most likely as they had to have checked the food) been handled by another customer. The female employee then stated, "Oh she didn't touch it it's okay." I then replied, "Well I am pregnant and cannot risk getting sick," to which she replied, "I worked through covid it's no big deal." I then told her I was hospitalized last week due to a minor cold (which I was) and was not willing to take a chance. She then stated again, "She didn't touch it there's nothing wrong with it. It will have the germs from inside the store anyway." And continued to refuse to remake the order. I then decided I would leave and forget the order and dispute it with my credit card company. However, it would not let me dispute it as it was still pending so I went back to ask for a refund, which she did not really want to do as the kiosk system had failed to send the receipt via text. I showed the employee the pending credit card charge. I was then refunded for the food and not the sodas that I had ordered. When I went back to the counter to show that the amounts did not match and the sodas had not been refunded, she stated that I was bothering the other customers. This employee refused to give her name and when asked if we could speak with a manager stated she was the manager. There were two males and one female working at this time. To refuse to remake an order that has been handled by another customer and state that it's no big deal if someone gets germs and potentially gets sick is ignorant. Just because one person doesn't get very sick from a virus or illness doesn't mean the next will not. I worked during covid too - as a registered nurse in a covid unit, and we had a cooler truck for the bodies as they did not all fit in our morgue. The last time I had covid I was hospitalized as I needed to to be put on oxygen. I have to wonder how food is normally handled at this location if the employees do not take public health risks seriously. Do they wash their hands when they go to the bathroom? Do they ever change their gloves? How many incorrect orders that have been handled have they taken back and then given to another customer. The person that took my food back from the customer to give it to me continued making food with the same gloves she had taken the...
Read moreAround 11:20 PM 10/13/2021, I went to Taco Bell on 2917 Dougherty Ferry RD. I order a Cantina five-dollar box and a Mountain Dew kickstart soda. When I arrived at the drive-thru it was an older lady with glasses who took my money and gave me my Mountain Dew kickstart. So I taste the Mountain Dew kickstart and it tastes like Alka-Seltzer water. So I told the older lady with glasses politely that my soda taste like Alka-Seltzer water. she told me that I always say that the Mountain Dew kickstart tastes like Alka-Seltzer water when I order from that location. So I politely asked the older lady with the glass that I wanted another soda. And she told me, "yes but you getting the same soda" after I told her that my soda tasted funny. So I told her I wanted a refund because of her attitude. So she told me no “you can’t get a refund” without any explanation. And she went to get her manager. So when the manager came to talk to me I told him "that I’m am a regular customer that comes here all the time and I don’t cause any trouble all I wanted was a new soda “ and he told me he can do that. And he was very nice about it. And I ask him do this store give out the refund and he told me, "yes but it has to be eight dollars and up" and I told him "Thank you for that information because the older lady with the glass didn’t want to tell me because she was mad at me". I always come to the location because the customer service is good but after this incident, I won’t come back and spend my money at that...
Read moreJust had a terrible experience at the Taco Bell on Dougherty Ferry. I took my daughter down there, and she ordered off of the kiosk inside, and while we were waiting we heard them mention her name a few times in regards to her order. It turns out they had given her order to someone else, at the drive up. A few minutes later the person returns when she realized she had the wrong order and brought it in, and the lady who identified herself as the manager, continued to take the rest of our food and put it in the bag that was just returned. I told her that that was unacceptable and we didn't want food that somebody else may have touched, and we needed the to order remade. She refused so we told her to just just forget the order and left, and my daughter was going to dispute it on her credit card, but it was still pending so she couldn't do that. I went back in and told her we wanted refunded and she at first refused to do it, but then finally did. It has to be a serious violation of Health Department rules to give food to someone that has already left the building with someone else. How did the person realize they got the wrong order, if they didn't open the food and see...
