The Corner Pub — Restaurant in Valmeyer

It was a neighborhood bar experience. They had the hockey game on and people were playing pool and darts. We had pizza that was very thin but not St. Louis style. Wings that were good but could have had a bit more sauce and been better. A burger that was swallowed up by the much bigger bun. The burger itself was in need of some seasoning. My daughter got tots with her burger and they were great. We also had onion rings and they were pretty good. If they would of had a sauce with them they would have been better. Evidently when the place opened they had a much better menu and food. But now after 7 years they have okay food. If you find yourself in Valmeyer and you need a beer with some wings head here. If you want a great burger head elsewhere. To me it was a bit to much money for the food we got but it was okay. Cheaper would have raised it a star or better quality but this...

Spur of the moment stop-in on the way back from Maeystown. So, so glad that we did. Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming waitress, and fabulous conversation with regular patrons. Amazing all-around experience! We enjoyed a draft beer(golden and a wheat), ate a sausage and bacon pizza bread, and challenged each other to a pub float. This is definitely more than an on the way to something stop, it's a destination.

Just moved to the area and this is by far our most favorite place to eat!!!!! Our kiddos love the pub for the unique old fashioned bottled soda pop and the employees are always awesome and patient with the kiddos as well!
