Was excited because this is one of the only teriyaki places I've found with gluten-free options. My wife and I decided to get the classic chicken teriyaki and try their sweet and sour shrimp. The chicken was good but I immediately regretted my other choice, as the shrimp was chewy and rubbery and the sauce tasted watery. I asked the lady working the front ( who wasn't very pleasant even during initial interactions) if there was any way I could get something else instead and she just looked at me and said "no". She then proceeded to go in the back and talk poorly about me in Spanish to her co-worker, not knowing I could understand her I'm assuming...After being in the service industry for almost 15 years, I've never seen a restaurant make such little effort to help their customer. Sadly we won't be returning despite the chicken being good, due to poor customer service....
Read moreMy first and last time eating at Joy Teriyaki. We went in for dine in and they forgot to call out our order when it was ready. It sat for twenty minutes, as many people came and went. The restaurant staff wasn’t friendly about the mishap and the new employee admitted she forgot about our order and that she didn’t call it out or look for us. We got cold and soggy food. It wasn’t great either. The sad thing is I timed a customer walking in and it took three minutes to get his Teriyaki Chicken. I’m a customer and the staff made me feel in the wrong. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere...

I've come back a few times within the last few months and there have been definite changes for the better. The chicken breast is much better than it used to be, the gyoza is still good and they now have a 'choose your own combo' deal which is a pretty good value, depending on what you get.
I'm not impressed by the beef, regular chicken, cream cheese rangoons, nor the egg rolls and they sadly serve Pepsi instead of Coke but the chicken breast/gyoza combo is enough to keep me coming back (and taking out).
Old review:
The gyoza is generic but good and cheap. Nothing else I've found is very good. The chicken breast is rubbery and overcooked, the chicken is fatty and the bulgogi is tough...
