Broke my ankle and stranded in my neighborhood. I needed to grab smokes and get scratchers from the corner spot that sells gas and beer. Thought taco truckā¦and some marbs? So I hobbled over to my scooter put my knee down squared myself up and got to pushin. As I dodged a pothole I looked up and like a glowing gem there it was Mars. I thought to myself Mars? How many PBRs did I drink⦠oh not that marsā¦. I digress, I broke my ankle and needed something soft to eat , so I pushed myself up the drive and did the sickest bunny hop over the parking stop. As I walked in the owner said sick trick dude, I said fo sho then he said you need to be careful then I said why I already broke my ankle and we all know you can only break one bone at a time and then said Iām not sure that is how that works then I said hmmmmmm I think I would know then he said sure then I said okay then he said you wants to try our orange chicken then I said fo sho. Aaaaaahhhh SNAP! Folks this is the best I have ever ever had. This aināt no suga chicken like the other place you know the one that uses the wwf logo not to be confused with the wwe cause they had to change the logo and now itās not ever the same w w e just had no ring to it. But the chicken and not just the chicken I went back everyday I scooted till I could walk then I walked like was Jarred to get me some subway but if subway was mars I walk and stopped buying marbs and scratchers all I wanted was mars. I canāt get enough in fact I am about to walk in now so I cutting this short
Letās just say if you know then you know

Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here on a Saturday evening at 5pm because local reviews indicate that this is an "authentic Chinese" takeout restaurant. I was craving for some authentic Sichuan hot and sour soup or beef fried noodles, but was met with American food mostly based on chicken as protein. There was a lot of orange chicken and mushroom and chicken, which compared directly with Panda Express, tastes much healthier. The fried rice was fresh, but when I wanted to get pork eggrolls, I was met with only chicken eggrolls. Not sure if this place is typically a chicken only place since chicken was all that was offered on this day.
Food was okay if you're craving for Panda Express-type American food but live in Felida, but if you're looking for authentic Chinese food, you'd have to go elsewhere.
The chef does speak proper Cantonese but I can understand why the flavors were tailored for the locals. While waiting for the eggrolls to fry, all the customers that came in were...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMar's Cuisine is a hidden gem! This is exactly what I imagine when I think of Chinese food! The food is spectacular, the portions are extremely generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the service was friendly, helpful, and prompt! The basic setup is similar to Panda Express, where you can order a combo with 1, 2, or 3 entree with a side, but that is where the comparison ends. Mar's food is not generic, bland, industrial food. It is authentic and genuine; cooked and served with love and care. I ordered several options from the menu and enjoyed everything I tried. I especially enjoyed the egg rolls and beef with broccoli. Simple dishes, done well are a good test of any restaurant and Mar's Cuisine passed with flying colors. Regarding ambience, there is no seating or dine in options. It's takeout only, but the food to go is packaged extremely well and served hot and fresh. Ordering multiple dishes and eating family style would be my...
