the people working here are so kind !!! i enjoyed my beverage. i will say i was less pleased with my breakfast burrito. the kind staff told me they accidentally made my latte with whole milk instead of oat milk and I didnât mind because i was doing some work there and was just thankful they caught the mistake. mistakes do happen! then i was told my burrito was also made incorrectly and they were remaking it , again I figured no problem since I was grading papers on my laptop there anyway! when they brought out the burrito , they said the side had broken but it was just because of the guac and it was otherwise fine. i figured okay , np. but when i looked at it and tried to pick it up , it was falling apart and the cheese was barely melted, and I didnât want them to remake another item on my behalf. I ate it regardless but didnât really enjoy the experience. I did pay $8.75 for it and wished it was better. however, i think i will give them another shot because the people there are so kind , the coffee is awesome, and i enjoyed working on my laptop there. Iâd say give them a shot, and just let them know if something isnât to...
Read moreI really want to love this shop, itâs the closest coffee option in the area, and Iâve tried multiple times to make it my go-to. As someone with a background in coffee, though, Iâve consistently run into issues with drink quality and service.
On my latest visit, the espresso shot dropped in about seven seconds (far too fast) and then sat for nearly a minute before being poured into the drink. The second shot looked like water as it pulled, and the final cup tasted the same thin and under extracted. These are correctable technique issues (grind size, dose, tamp, and timing) but they make a big difference in flavor.
Customer service also needs attention. Thereâs minimal communication with guests, which makes the experience feel unwelcoming. A simple âHi, what can I get started for you?â Make recommendations, and a brief check-in after drinks are served would go a long way.
Thereâs potential here, location is great, and with a few adjustments to espresso workflow and front-of-house hospitality, this could be a solid neighborhood spot. Iâm rooting for...
Read moreI rarely go to this coffee shop but I really needed some pick me up caffeine this morning, 9/7. Get a latte, I live 1 block away. Take my first sip as I drive in my driveway and itâs barely luke warm!!! How disappointing!
I call back to let the girl know and she wants to argue with me and tell me thereâs no way, that she âsteamedâ my milk! Yes, she did but obviously not long enough to make it hot!
My frustration is that she couldnât just say, âcustomer I am so sorry, and Iâll be glad to make it right!â No she wanted to tell me it could NOT be just luke warm!!!
First time thereâs in a long time, and most definitely my last time!!! If I pay $5 for a cup of coffee, I expect it to be hot! Pony Express is with the...
