My first time visiting this restaurant I ordered the taste of Italy with the chicken parmigiana, meatballs and lasagna. It came with a soup of the day which was a cream based mushroom soup. That soup was excellent. The chicken parmigiana, however, was over a cook to the point that it took considerable effort to cut with a knife. Neither my partner and I could finish it. The lasagna was about a half inch thick, and appeared to be vegetarian, and certainly the thinnest piece of lasagna I've ever had. The taste was good but the pasta was overcooked. You could take a piece of the pasta and rub it between your finger and thumb and it would dissolve. The meatballs were also overcooked but the taste was ok. We ended up only eating one of the meatballs and throwing the rest away. I grew up in a community of Italian immigrants so home cooked Italian food was a big part of my childhood. I was taught that your meat should be tender and your pasta al dente. All in all I spent about $30 and we only ate half the meal between two people. This was disappointing but I am willing to try the restaurant again. We live in challenging times in terms of obtaining and retaining quality staff and I understand those difficulties.

Wife and I dined here on Oct 22nd after several recommendations, but this missed the mark. Resturaunt was sort of busy but we were seated quickly waitress was good although very slow on getting another drink not sure if that was the bar but wife only had one glass of wine (wanted another never received). Food was ok I ordered the Tour of Italy as shown in the pic and could not even tell you if that was Lasagna it was flat wasn't even as big as the chicken parm and tasted awful and the chicken parm had no sauce on it (I did ask waitress for sauce) and then the Meatballs were cold in the middle, I know you can't make meatballs fresh for a order but at least heat them up so they are hot all the way through.. Wife had the Fettuccini with shrimp and she said it was good but we were very surprised after the recommendations we were given we would possibly try something else next time!!

We stopped at Valenti's Italian Restaurant after a long day of driving and appointments. The location was very convenient; less than a mile off US HWY 1 Bypass. We were greeted by friendly staff, everything was well maintained, the ambiance was relaxing, the bathrooms were nice and clean, there was a bar area and nice banquet room. Mom tried a slice of supreme pizza. I ordered a Twister; I added pepperoni and sausage in lieu of the steak or chicken that was listed in the description. My meal was so large that mom and I only ate half of it. (She tried 2 small slices.) She carried the other half home to my dad. (Can't forget him!) :-) Both meals were great! Now that we know how great it is, and how convenient the location is, we will definitely stop by there on many more of our long trips that go by there!

We have been going to the Vass location for 15 years and the food, proportions, cost, and service have gone down hill on a scale that is beyond disappointing and I am sad to say we will no longer be going back. We understood during COVID costs would go up, but when everyone else’s costs started to go down, Valenti’s just kept soaring. The wait staff use to be warm, welcoming, friendly, and capable but now they seem irritated to be dealing with you. We have had so many bad experiences over the last few years it’s become too much to ignore. Common issues seem to be cold food, tiny proportions that look like kids meals, and rude waitstaff. Tonight we came in one hour and ten minutes before closing with a large party of 9. My husband was so taken aback by the hostess’s look of horror that he asked if she was sure it was okay for us to be seated which she responded ā€œno it’s okayā€. We awkwardly sat down with the entire staff staring at us like we were jerks. It was clear they had already cleaned the restaurant and kitchen and were ready to go home. I have worked my entire life, served in the military, and cannot understand the sentiment of employees thinking the job is over hours before a business closes. We ordered appetizers, entrees and planned on ordering desserts. Desserts for a party of 9 at the rates they are charging is a lot of revenue. The waitress never told us the kitchen was closing or offered us dessert. Finally we ask to order and she tells us the kitchen is already closed. Of course the children which we had promised lava cakes to if they ate their meals were upset. Loyal customers of 15 years and there is no loyalty in return. No more familiar faces, I don’t even know who the manager or owner is anymore. When we first started going a manager use to come and check on the table, staff would go above and beyond to make customers happy, proportions were large, food was always fresh and hot. Now it’s just become another Olive Garden with over priced sub par food and service. Cold rolls, bland sauces, and low quality meat. Very very sad to see but I guess we will be taking our business to Vito’s who appreciates their customers and has kept the local...

I absolutely love the food here. I am not here to trash them. I went yesterday and brought a friend. It was my 3rd time there. My first time I had someone bring me.Last week I brought a friend and yesterday I brought another friend. The first time the service and food was amazing. Last week there was only 1 server on a Thursday and it was busy. We ordered apps, lunch and dessert. My friend ordered a Bloody Mary which came out just in a glass. No celery, olives, lime etc and not shaken and the vodka was sitting on top. Then yesterday I was going to order crab dip but the server recommended fried ravioli because they were quick. We ordered them but she took a long time to get them to the table and were only slightly warm when we got them. Then we got soup and had to send back because it was cold. Then we got tour of Italy and when we got that it was cold but the plate was burning hot which meant it sat under heat lamp. The server microwaved for us. Then my drink which was an absolute on the rocks (3 oz/double shot) with a splash of cranberry and when I got the bill they charged me $16 per drink. So it was $32 for 2 drinks. I did mention it and the server who spoke to the owner But he said that’s normal which I’ve ordered the same thing the 3 times I’ve been there and each time a different price. On the bill it said 4 drinks when I only had 2. I love the food here and I have been bringing people here but I thought it was outrageous to charge more for an absolute on the rocks which is 3 oz or 2 shots of vodka then it is to buy a martini which is more liquor. It like I said I’m not here to bash them because the food is incredible but as a server myself and being in restaurant business for 35 years this was not acceptable and should have been addressed...

I’ve never been one to write a google review, but people need to be aware of what they are paying for. For one, that almost $3 coke product you’re buying apparently isn’t even coke. Ive dined here multiple times, and each time the soda taste different. I was told by my server after inquiring that they are marketing coke products, but use off brand syrups to save money. You mean to telll me that there’re charging for coke but giving customers off brand soda? Pretty sure coke wouldn’t work with them anyone if they knew this. They penny pinch everywhere else, they really have to sell off brand soda too? CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS. Last time I ate here, I got Togo. When getting Togo orders, you’re charged a ā€œTogo surchargeā€ for the ā€œpacking materialsā€. WHAT? After seeing this, my family decided it was cheaper to dine in, but after this last experience, I will not return. I’ve gave this place multiple chances, but from a business standpoint, they are robbing customers blind. I asked my server why she didn’t say anything to management about these issues, and her response was ā€œI just work hereā€ and laughed… typical. Just pay attention to your receipts and up charges if you do decide to dine here and you might want to ask your server if they coke product you ordered is ā€œrealā€ Coke that day. If they’re cheating out on soda, god knows what else they’re marketing that is false.

Edit to add: Our entire meal, we constantly heard yelling (with profanity) coming from the kitchen and undesirable conversations going on between waitstaff in the restaurant which were extremely loud and disappointing since we had our children with us. We shouldn’t be afraid of the things our children will hear while in a...
