If you want really good and exaggerated size pastries, this is the place. You have to come early if you want to grab a variety of selections. We came mid-day and they almost ran out. Was able to grab an oversize donut, a large custard filled donut and mallorca. Also some mini pastelillos de guayaba because the 3 large ones left were taken from the lady in front of me. The lady taking our order checked if there were any left in the kitchen but no luck. She did bring out some mini pastelillos which are made the same way as the large ones. Since she made the effort to track them down, I totally got them and glad I did. The guava was so good and not the artificial filling you taste in other bakeries. The textures on all the pastries were great and the large sizes didn't alter that. Definitely these pastries will feed a party of 4 easy. Go grab them and go early. They also make sandwiches and lunch dishes which we didn't try since we went straight to the sweets 😁 but will next time we visit PR. By the way, they do have regular size pastries as well....

I don't do many reviews but this was the best sandwich I've had in PR. What makes this place different than the other 100+ panderias I've been to is they do some cuts straight from the bone. I arrived at the end of lunch and jamón was all that was left so jamón dulce sandwich is what I had. If you are going from San Juan to the west coast or vice versa this detour is something to strongly consider. It is better than España bakery in San Juan and half the price.
