From the moment we arrived at the parking lot, the staff ensured we were guided smoothly to the right spot — a small touch that set the tone for what turned out to be a truly welcoming experience.
At the entrance, we were greeted warmly, and the waitress team was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and carried a great sense of humor — always smiling, even during the peak hours, and ready to assist with anything we needed.
We did encounter a minor issue with one of the plates, but it was handled with professionalism and kindness. No excuses, no back-and-forth — just a sincere effort to make sure we were happy, and that really stood out.
Now, about the food — absolutely delicious! The mofongo was perfectly seasoned, and the chunky churrascos were tender and flavorful. What tied it all together was the salsa de setas — rich, earthy, and full of depth. It was easily one of the highlights of the meal, and a dish we’d gladly come back for.
The view of the ocean adds a beautiful touch to the atmosphere. However, we did notice quite a bit of garbage on the beach. While this isn’t the fault of Villa Pesquera, it’s a reminder to all of us on the island to take pride in and care for our environment.
If the beach were better maintained, it would be the perfect place to walk barefoot with the kids, to enjoy the sand without worry — a simple joy we all deserve to experience safely.
In all, Villa Pesquera offered not just a meal, but a memorable outing — with heartfelt service, delicious food, and a setting that, with a little help from all of us, could be...
Read moreWe have dined here (my wife and I and separately with family members on several occasions) after we spend the morning hours at the nearby beach “Puerto Nuevo” and have visited during lunch and dinner hours (restaurant stays busy on weekends for dinner).
There are always daily specials and today the The fresh “ceviche de mero” special was exceptional. I also ordered the “ensalada de pulpo” which also was fresh and local and also exceptional.
Nowadays when ordering seafood in PR I ask if the seafood is fresh & locally caught and so far I believe I am told the truth and if truth be told (I eat seafood all over the island) I can taste the difference. Today I had locally fresh seafood and it was just delicious. The hot sauce was also local.
My wife ordered the chicken breast stuffed with sweet plantain & bacon and she enjoyed it.
All my dinning experiences have been positive here and from now I am calling to know the daily specials (fresh caught & local) so I can enjoy the variety of options available. Today there was also a paella special that I wanted to try but I was...
Read moreService was horrible. We placed our order with our waitress (dinner for two) and we kindly asked that our food come out at the same time since in recent experience only one meal would come out instead of at the same time. After a while of waiting only one meal was brought out by another waitress. We kindly asked to speak with our waitress since we didnt have any water and the meals were to come out at the same time but she said our waitress went on break and she took over meanwhile (who goes in break when you are have a table..?). At that time we were offered water. Meanwhile my friend at his dinner and the waters nor my food ever arrived to the table. I ended up cancelling my order. They knew I was not happy but didn't offer any apolgied they just looked scared🤦🏻♀️ It was my second time going (1st time wasn't so good either but decided to give it another try... horrible) I won't be going or recommending this...
